"Premier Services Review for Premier Services I recently hired Premier Services for a home project that included sanding, spackling, painting, and window sill replacement. Their work was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the team demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The crew arrived on time each day, maintained a clean workspace, and communicated clearly about the progress of the job. The surfaces were meticulously prepared before painting, and the window sill replacements were seamless and sturdy. The final paint finish was smooth and flawless, breathing new life into the space. Premier Services exceeded my expectations, and I would confidently recommend them for any home renovation or repair needs. They truly deliver craftsmanship and reliability at its finest. "This is the 3rd time in 7 years they have been here for different trees and each time aside from the missing trees, it is almost impossible to tell that big trucks were hear and removal all debris took place. They show extreme care with the property and leave almost no trace they were even here. Mike and Marvin were the guys in charge but this team of 10 guys were in and out in less that 2 hours with me smiling at how there was no damage or debris left behind. This team worked together like an efficient well oiled machine. I am grateful I found them."

"Hired last year, roof was fine until snow collected on roof and began to melt and it was then it leaked into the house. I called and they responded which was good, they sent people to the house and hopefully repaired the leak but now I have to fix the water damage(to sheetrock) myself for the second time."

"Totally responsive and professional. Expensive? Yes, but these guys cleared my roof in less than 24 hours from when I called. Saved me $$$ by avoiding interior water damage from ice damming.

Troy Zaro was totally responsive each time I called. His crew showed up within five minutes of when promised.

We have specimen landscaping. The crew was very mindful of where they put the snow and ice.

I could not be happier!

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Using a snow blower can make removing snow easier if you have physical limitations and a large area to cover. Snow blowers can remove large amounts of snow quickly, which can also save you time. However, shoveling can be efficient for smaller areas with light snow. The method you use will depend on the specific situation and your preference. Of course, you can skip doing it yourself and stay out of the cold by hiring a snow removal company near you.

While most people associate defrosting icy roads with salt, you can also use sugar for a similar result. Sugar lowers the freezing point of water, melting ice in a pinch.

However, sugar doesn’t melt ice as well as salt because it doesn’t separate the water molecules as efficiently. So, if you need to quickly melt a stubborn patch of ice on your driveway or walkway, it’s best to use salt over sugar for faster results.

Before firing up your snowblower, ensure that essential switches are in the correct starting position. Take a moment to double-check the throttle, fuel shut-off, and choke, ensuring they're firmly set to the "on" position. Precision in verifying each switch's alignment is crucial, so don't rush through this critical step.

It is not advisable to use salt on your roof to prevent or remove ice dams. It’s not only mostly ineffective but can also cause serious damage to your roof itself. Salt can rust metal, damage masonry, pit shingles, and cause runoff that’s damaging to plants and animals.
