In addition to the insulation, Stu also built a raised platform for our storage boxes (insulated underneath), wrapped the chimney to make sure there was no air seepage from below, covered the recessed light casings with fire-retardant covers, and built a removable, draft-proof cover for the house fan. The job took most of the day and was done efficiently, taking care to minimize the dust with plastic sheeting at the attic entrance and floor coverings throughout the house. They conscientiously cleaned up to perfection when the job was finished. My experience was very positive with Discount Insulation. They are courteous, mindful and respectful, as well as honest and trustworthy. I am very happy with my new R40 insulated attic and look forward to warmer bedrooms and lower heating bills in the winter."
