"WB Lightning is focused on customer service. The company provided good communication and responded very quickly to my inquiry for a quote. WB Lightning is a respected company, I had another electrical service provider tell me I made a good choice when I hired WB Lightning Rods."

"Great crew of installers. Kevin did fantastic install on all electric systems. He never stopped for over 7 hours!! Rob and Riley did not stop working till job was done. Nice assistance from Al. on gas and electric line install. Suggestion: someone should review manuals with customer. Team did demonstrate start up of generator."

"Excellent, Ken is a stand up electrician. He walked us through everything and gave his opinion on the job and the best way to handle it all. His work is clean and professional. Ken was easy to work with and he was extremely personable with out little 3yo handyman. We would hire and recommend Ken to anyone who wants an honest and well done electrical job."

"A great experience. Met with owner, Mohammed within 1 hour of contact. He looked at job, explain the issues in plain English. Gave me several options to resolve electrical problem. Promised to follow-up with phone call after he got pricing on parts. Called me bright and early very next morning, we agreed on work to be done and pricing, he said he could complete today. Within 1 hour he started repairs and within a few hours, the A/C and entire home was up and running. He checked/confirmed that every electrical appliance had power. His work area was left clean and free of trash. It was a pleasure to have Mohammed in my home, a true professional"

"He located the problem with the furnace very quickly. He got the furnace up and running in less than an hour. Because we have been customers for a number of years, and have a maintenance contract with ASTAR, Ed, the owner, declined any payment for his work, saying that "we had been good customers, and he just wanted to see that we were ok!" That, in my opinion, is exceptional customer service! AStar's work is also consistently professional, they always follow up, and are a pleasure to deal with. In the past, they installed a brand new heating system, and upgraded our air conditioning, which have performed well. The problem that we had during the storm was due to an electrical short circuit, not a product defect.."

"This company is obviously nationwide and hires local contractors.  I trusted Agies List that all contractors are licensed, bonded and have background checks.  This person was a handyman and not qualified to wall mount, conceal wires, add electrical outlet.  He  spend five hours in my home, for a job that should have taken two hours and left the area in a disaster.  The TV was hung close to the ceiling, the wires were hanging down from the TV, and the receiver was sitting on top of a plaster box because the cord was too short.  He was obviously not qualified to install TV wall mounts.  I have photos.    As soon as he left, I called Best Buy Geek Squad.  They were able to come out the next day and mount the TV professionally.  I have used the geek squad in Virginia and they are highly qualified.  They charge more than this nationwide company but you get what you pay for.  I called Angies List the day after the disaster and said i did not want to rate this company but I wanted to talk to a manager. No one called me to apologize. I have cancelled my membership.  Do not use this company unless you can be assured that the local contractor is qualified and is licensed.  You should never let anyone into your home that has not had background checks.
