"After getting several quotes, last year we hired GenReady to install a house generator. Ed, the owner of the company impressed us from the start. He was knowledgeable and patiently explained the process as well as answering our questions. We knew right away that GenReady was the company for us. Lindsay kept us up to date as we moved along in the process. Our generator was installed last July. Andrew and his team installed the generator with expertise and efficiency. They took care to leave our house and yard spotless. Lindsay and Andrew were always happy to answer my questions and address me concerns. We’ve needed the generator only once (thank goodness) when our power went out due to a necessary power line repair after a car crashed into a utility pole on our street. When the power went out, our generator turned on within seconds. Our house was up and running for the four hours the line repair took, and if it weren’t for the blink of lights, we never would have known our generator was running. Every other week, our generator self tests for a few minutes giving us peace mind that it will be here for us if and when we need it. Just like the generator, GenReady is a company that runs efficiently and seamlessly. Just today, Lindsay called to tell me someone would be coming tomorrow to change the oil which reminded me that I am long overdue in submitting this well deserved rave review. "Joe and his team of electricians led by Paul were amazing to work with! Very professional, on-time, and fair pricing estimates for electrical work I needed in my condo, including moving the position of a ceiling light and setting up two new sconces, both of which required patching up the drywall afterwards and they made it look seamless. Joe really values quality work and made sure to check in throughout the job and afterwards to make sure I was satisfied, answering any questions I had. They offer a ton of handyman services and I will be booking them for future tv mounting needs as well."

"I just had my generator repaired by Jim Birch, owner of AC Performance Power. This is the company to use. He actually answers your texts, and He takes your call. He shows up when he tells you. Whether it's 6 am or 10 pm. He or one of his guys (blade the Man) will be there. Not only does he do the job, you know he does it right. It's the busiest season, so Jim and his team work long days to finish the job. I had a really difficult short in my generator, and in the end, Jim needed to field-fix my PC board. I am back up and running. 5 stars to Jim and his crew."

"John was great initially - getting there and tackling the immediate problem and answering my calls. We had a short in the electrical heating fan/motor in the floor that was potentially dangerous and could have caused a fire so he replaced the breaker and rewired the fan/motor. However, when he left we noticed that the fan was not running in the box and he told us to detach the wires which I felt was risky and also meant the problem was not fixed. He said he would come back the following Monday to inspect the rest of the wires underneath the house and he never did. He was also supposed to send me a photo of the burned wires, a work order/receipt for my files, and never did. I texted him about Monday and about replacing the fan/motor - either to let us what it was called and we would replace it ourselves or give us the cost of replacing one or all 3 boxes. He never responded so we still have a heating system that is not fixed and perhaps dangerous if only running on two fan motors ."

"We replaced the original roof on our house. I expressed my concerns about re-installation of the lightening rods to my roofer. We have had at least three direct hits since they were originally installed in 2013. My roofer called William who was very helpful. William offered to come out an make sure everything was 100% after re-installation. He came the day after I called and I'm glad he did. While the reinstall was the best he had seen (his words) there were issues after 5 year and 3 strikes that needed addressed. He fixed those and now I have a new roof and I am certain the lightening rods will work as intended. Highly recommend this company."

"Fatos and his team did an amazing job designing and installing lighting throughout our garden and front of the house. I found them through Angies, got proposals from three companies, and decided to give the business to Kelvin Landscape Lighting. Could not be happier! It looks phenomenal at night, turns on and off automatically like I wanted, and the price was good... just excellent work. Would 100% hire again. PS: I was very concerned about the trenching for cables and how my lawn would look like after. Fatos and team did such a great job you cant even tell there were cables run across the lawn. Amazing!"

"I contracted with Grant Heating & Cooling Inc. to install HVAC system in my home in the spring of 2024. They were very professional and did a very good job. In the winter of 2025 I had a minor problem with one of the Mitsubishi heat pump system units. The company was quick to troubleshoot the situation. The technicians were courteous, knowledgeable about the system and thorough. It required several visits to diagnose the problem and fix it. The manager, Nick was very responsive to the situation which required bringing out an expert from Mitsubishi. All of this work was covered under my warranty. The problem was fixed and I could not speak highly enough about the company’s policies and customer service. I would highly recommend them for all facets of their work and standing behind their installations. I am very happy to be working with them for my continued maintenance.
