"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Initially, we found Matt's business listed on the Trex website as a certified TrexPro Gold installer. After then reading his positive reviews across AngliesList, Facebook, & Google, and seeing photos of many projects that appeared to be the type of work we were looking for, we reached out. Communication was excellent from the initial quote through completion of the project. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. He had instead of the crew to work on our house one person and occasionally he came, not often. The work lasted two months longer than projected. The finished product overall looks nice. However after a year I've now had the plumbing fixed in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The problems were basic plumbing not done properly and leaking water caused more issues. I would not recommend hiring this person as you get presented with a plan that sounds great, then in retrospect get to pay thousands to finish the job so it not only looks nice but it actually functions properly. His worker Adam did the majority of the job and as I said it looks nice, but all the major things I had fixed were installed with Tony present. I did reach out to Tony about the issues and he offered to come look at the problems, but after spending alot of money to fix other issues i decided it was in my best interest that I hired another business to fix the problem."
