Xterior Solutions’ pricing was in the middle of the bids I received and seemed fair. My only complaint involves the manufacturer’s warranty on the metal panels. Xterior Solutions said nothing about it. I contacted the manufacturer (ABC) and reached a sales manager who said that in case of a warranty claim, I only needed to cite the order number for the original sale from ABC to the contractor’s lumberyard. But there was no way for me to obtain this number: the lumberyard wouldn’t give it to me, and Xterior Solutions had different numbers. Finally the ABC sales manager looked it up for me. I think that when a job is finished Xterior Solutions should get this number and give it to the homeowner with guidance on the warranty."
