"A few months back, my wife and I found Lazer's (owner of NYC Plumbing, Heating and Drain Cleaning) contact info via Google HomeAdvisor as we needed to get a boiler installed, but luckily at that time the boiler company provided free installations - however, we saved Lazer's contact info incase we needed further work. Earlier today, I needed to get an urgent blockage/clog fixed in our basement sink and reached out to Lazer, who was beyond helpful in terms of pricing and availability. He sent one of his workers (Elton) who was not only able to resolve/fix the issue in a matter of mins, but Elton was also kind enough to fix/seal a pipe under the sink which our contractors messed up while installing it. Not only that, but Elton also saw my family and I struggling with a smart thermostat and he went out of his way to help us with the thermostat as well - Jack of all trades!! Lets just say, moving forward I know for sure Lazer and his team will be my go-to people for any plumbing needs. Not only are they fast, helpful and respond right away; but they are very knowledgeable, kind, respectful and very reasonably priced. Overall, amazing work and very reliable!! Highly recommend!!"

"Niko Spirollari and Dori did an excellent job in replacing three (3) radiator valves. One of the valves required a pipe to be replaced. They contacted me immediately upon my request for a quote and they were able to come the very next day to do the job. They gave me a very reasonable estimate for this job and only charged me the cost of an extra valve for the labor and parts to replace a damaged pipe. The entire job took about 2 hours. They placed down work blankets to protect the carpet and they vacuumed the work areas and removed the old valves upon completing the job. They were very informative, efficient and professional. I was very pleased with the work and cost of this project. I have hired them before to replace my hot water tank and install a kitchen faucet and I would definitely hire them for future plumbing projects."

"From the initial phone call to the completion of the job Quality 1st provided top notch professional service. A couple points which makes this easy to write. Communication is key whether in person or via telephone and Q1 was exceptional in this regard at every point. Telephone conversations with customer services was pleasant and cordial, never rushed or snotty. Paul our salesman was here for quite a while answering questions and assessing our needs in the basement. Of only was he on time for our appointment he was about 10 minutes early too. The cost of this project was a good chunk of change for us but after too many times of shop-vac’ing water we knew it was time to bite the bullet and move forward with making life a little easier and not have the issue of when will we get water in the basement again hanging over our heads. I was impressed that Quality 1st uses their own products and has their own R&D facilities. As for the installation, enough cannot be said for the crew that was here. I got the call at 9am they would be here in 20 minutes and at 9:20 they were backing in my driveway. I met the foreman Mario and his 2 helpers. We went into the basement and they looked around and asked if I had any questions. We had almost everything out of the basement and what was left they covered in plastic. By 9:50am they were running the jackhammers. We have a 1,500 sqft ranch and these guys worked all day, they didn’t stop and worked their tails off. I can’t remember exactly when the jackhammer stopped but by 2 pm the channel was dug out and they were beginning to lay out for the channel that carries the water to the sump. About 4pm Kyle showed up to assess the job and see if I had any questions or concerns. We spoke about the job and we went downstairs to see the progress. He stayed on site for about 45 minutes after making sure I was comfortable with how the job was going. By 5:15 or so the job was completely finished. Before they left Mario went over everything regarding the sump system. As far as cleanup, this is a dusty job. Concrete dust is ultra fine and they did a fantastic job of not only sweeping but they also dusted off areas which were not covered in plastic. They left no mess to speak of., I was very satisfied with their work and attention to detail. It’s easy to nitpick any job at anytime and there is nothing I would call them out on. Finally as for the functionality of the sump system I wish I had a comment on that at this time. We’ve lived in our house for 25 years and until around Thanksgiving of this year (2018) we’ve only had water about 4 times. Between Thanksgiving (2018) and New Years (2019) we got slammed 4 times and nothing since. With the symptoms of how our basement got water, I feel comfortable with the system Quality 1st installed and am confident they will stand behind their work and warranty. We’re also happy this is transferable to the next homeowner when we sell the house and it is an excellent selling point when the time comes."

"I can't say enough good things about Jimmy- He responded to an emergency sewer backup & when he was here he advised me of the urgent need to replace a VERY old basement slop sink with rotting plumbing (I didn't even realize it) He installed the new sink, reorganized the piping, installed new cutoff valves, changed a bunch of other hoses,etc. He is prompt, courteous, neat & reasonable. "Gold Coast professionals are amazing. I described the problem on Angi and made an immediate appointment online. I was skeptical at first because I didn’t have a quote and I wasn’t going to be home while the job was being done. Someone called me the next day and assured as long as someone is home they can speak to me by phone. They promised to assess the job and provide a reasonable quote. They assured me I was not obligated to use there services. I expected to have a gas line capped in the basement then place a piece of furniture in front of the pipe. When I explained why I was capping the line, the service man said he could remove the extension pipe and cap the main line and push it flush behind the wall. And the cost was more than reasonable. All I had to do was repair the hole in the wall. Thank you guys for the wonderful service."

Tidal Plumbing guys stepped up and resolved the issue before the end of the day. They completed the city permit and handled some regulation issue. Awesome guys!"
