I called P & A Sewer and Drain to replace the toilet flange and to unclog the kitchen sink. The plumber did an excellent job, paying close attention to detail and he left the work areas spotless. If you're looking for an honest plumber with very reasonable rates, I highly recommend calling P & A Sewer and Drain.

I couldnt tell you if they were good or not because they never showed up! They were the 1st to call! I even got a confirmation call from the office about the appointment. No one came, no one called, no one apologized. The office is not returning my call! I cancelled another appointment just to meet them. Very unprofessional!

I used to have sporadic flooding at the front and rear of my townhouse. P&A cleared and upgraded my garage trench drain, installed a sump pump in the garage, and another sump pump at the backyard entrance. Everything looked great but the real test came when we recently had heavy rains. After a full day and a half of storms my neighbor's basement flooded but mine was bone dry. The best part is I could just relax and not worry about bailing water out of my house anymore.

Pasquale was amazing. Due to heavy rains, my basement had a flood. Pasquale came within 2 hrs driving from Brooklyn to assist me. You don't get good people like this. He changed my sewer drain and added a sump pump. Very professional and he really cares about his customers and wants to make sure he does a correct job. I was fortunate to have him.

P&A plumbing responded to my request in minutes and were at my place to fix an emergency leak within the hour the day before Thanksgiving. Pasqual was very efficient and was able to diagnose and repair the problem quickly. Pasqual was straight-forward and friendly. I will definitely hire again for any other plumbing issues.

Quick response and work was done in a professional way

It has been said that the judge of a civilization by how it discards their, er, "liquid wastes." When that liquid waste was not flowing properly in the basement of my 120+ year old home, I was very concerned that this would be the downfall of the civilization, at least by how it is constituted in my home. So when Pasquale showed up and with his magic "snake camera" revealed that the sewer pipe under my basement had collapsed, I was VERY concerned. I had visions of raw sewage flooding my basement and workers digging something akin to the Panama Canal in my basement - you know: dirt! As it turned out, Pasquale runs an operation that runs very smoothly: he and his crew came out on a Friday morning at 8:30 am (on the dot!) and started taking up the concrete in my basement (it was a trench about 3 feet wide and 4 feet deep.) They had to move a lot of shelves out of the room where the digging was taking place, and they were careful when doing so. Pasquale estimated it would take a week to complete the work, but this dude underpromises and overdelivers: it took 3 long days of work (they generally worked from 8:30 am to about 4 pm and they DON'T take 2 hour "lunch breaks.") Since most of this work took place on a weekend (Friday - Sunday), I expected that I probably paid extra, but not having a working sewage line was not an option for me and my tenants. In the end Pasquale and his colleagues did a beautiful job (however "beautiful" installing a new sewer pipe could be.) I can now get a good night's sleep knowing that Pasquale guaranteed that this pipe will last until 2122, which works out to be about $150/year. Would you pay that much to know that your sewage pipe won't back up again? I used to pay $250/year to have this cruddy old pipe cleaned, so I not only do I sleep better at night (easily worth the 41¢ per night), but it's one less thing I have to worry about in this old house. Postscript: About a week after they finished, a small pipe developed a leak which may or may not have been caused by the work done. Pasquale was arrived within an hour and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Good plumbers are hard to find: they try to sell you unnecessary work, or don't show up to work, or show up late, or do part of the job, then disappear for a few days or weeks, or they just do cruddy work. P & A is an amazing company, and show that our civilization still has good people around to take care of our sewage.

I contacted Angie's List because we noticed a leak from the first-floor bathroom down to the back room in the basement. An old pipe had split. Pasquale responded right away and came to the house to inspect the situation and provide a free estimate. He showed up when he said. When he showed up he took his time and correctly diagnosed the situation. My wife and I decided to go with him because he came across as honest and trustworthy. We are so glad we went with him. He replaced the broken pipe, the tiles, and the toilet. He will undoubtedly be taking care of another plumbing job in my home in the very near future. Washing machine spigots installation

Best decision ever made to hire these guys . My pipes were not connected correctly to the main street line. They were dumping into the sump pit. Mike and his crew were able to cut and reroute everything and now no fear of flooding and the basement doesn't have a sewer odor. Originally was going to take 2-3 days. The reconfiguration only took a day and they returned the next day to sheetrock the wall. A+++++++

Called them on a Sunday when I noticed a backup at an outside drain; Pasquale & crew showed up the next morning. Given the kind of work they do, and the fact that the floors had just been washed, I asked them to take off their shoes in the house and they did! <3 It took maybe half an hour to clean out the sewer drain. While this was happening a tenant mentioned that he had a leak under his kitchen sink, and the crew was flexible enough to handle it on the spot, in the same visit. Thanks, guys! Would definitely hire again.

They could schedule job quickly. They were polite and did an excellent job and a cheaper rate than someone else quoted us. I added a few small jobs on at last minute and they happily did them. I didn't like one thing and they happily made adjustment. Work took a bit longer than they said but I told them that wouldn't be a problem as long as they were done by a certain day - which they did - and they were working hard the entire time. I highly recommend them.

This was an excellent experience. The repair person quickly identified the problems, purchased the required parts at the local plumbing supply and returned to do the installation. The work was expertly performed. The discarded materials were removed and the work areas were cleaned.
