"We had been considering remodeling our thirty-five-year-old bathroom for many years but couldn't find the right contractor. We started combing through Angie's List and stumbled upon V&S Tile & Bath Remodeling in Latham, NY. We read through almost 100 reviews with an average of 4.82/5.00 stars and thought these guys were too good to be true. Not so! They came in here and in 5 days, as promised, remodeled our entire second-floor bathroom at a very fair price. They replaced our tile floor with marble, replaced the vanity, sink, and toilet, and replaced a tired old bathtub with a walk-in shower that looks like it came out of a home design magazine. They also replaced 2 other toilets in our home while they were here. Were they timely? You could set your clock by these guys! They showed up every morning on time, worked non-stop, and cleaned up as they went, not they made much of a mess at all. I did a lot of this type of work in my younger days so I can be a bit judgmental, but I could not find one single issue with the work they did. Sergey was a pleasure to deal with. He answered emails and texts in a timely manner and did not sneak in any extra charges at the end. He gave us exactly what we asked for. His crew, Alex, Eugene, and Slavo (not sure I have the spellings correct) and his father were fantastic, each one a true craftsman. Trust me, I do not know any of these guys nor do I know anyone who knows them, and I am not related to them. This is a straight-up, 100% honest review. "This was the second attempt to install my tub liner as the first installer cut the liner short and may have damage a couple of wall tiles in the process. A new tub liner had to be reordered and a different installer by the name of Paul Norton came out to the house to complete the job with a new liner. Paul was very courteous and professional in explaining everything that had to be done and even was able to repair the damaged tiles in a satisfactory manner. Except for the inconvenience of needing to have Bath Fitter come to my house for a second time to complete the job that should have been completed on the first try, I am happy with the final result and Especially the installer (PAUL NORTON) that came to the house the second time and finished the job. A Big Thank You to PAUL NORTON for a job well done."

"Ani and his brother were timely, communicative and sent updates when each piece of work was done. The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"We decided to renovate two bathrooms and the kitchen in a townhouse we own. SE Kitchens and Baths gave me a good estimate with very detailed plans. Skip listened to me as I described what I wanted the outcome to be, and I felt he really kept my budget in mind. When I met at his shop to pick out items, I asked that he only show me things that met the expenses in the estimate which he did without hesitation. He also gave me suggestions and told me about items he liked. That phase went really well and I was happy with all my picks. I did go over a tiny bit on tile for the bathroom but i knew it and was OK with that overage. We searched for a laminate flooring, and while meeting with the flooring rep, I asked about bamboo and she thought it was a perfect fit for us. Skip loved the idea, and best of all, it was within the flooring budget.Although the work took a little longer to complete than we originally thought, it was well worth the wait. The kitchen is just gorgeous and the attention to detail is fantastic. We moved our washer and dryer to another location which SE Kitchens and Baths did for us, and put a new shower where those appliances were. The rest of the bathroom as well as the full bath were gutted and new everything was put into place. They are not over the top - it's only a townhouse - but they are clean, fresh and have lots of storage now. Everything we asked for was completed beautifully and everything works and looks great. They did run into a few problems which were totally unforseen which caused some delays and small cost increases, but nothing major or upsetting. All the issues were handled well - I was not there during the renovations but was kept abreast of all that was going on with emails, phone calls and pictures. A fair amount of painting, electrical work, and plumbing were all a part of this project, and I am happy with every aspect of the work. It is such a beautiful renovation!!I would definitely recommend SE Kitchens and Baths for renovations. Skip was easy to work with and listened to my needs and wants. He didn't encourage things I didn't need, but he did suggest a few things that I hadn't considered which turned out to be great decisions. I felt his costs were fair and his estimates were extremely detailed and correct, since I experienced no real cost overruns, which I consider wonderful planning on his part. Highly recommend."
