We started combing through Angie's List and stumbled upon V&S Tile & Bath Remodeling in Latham, NY. We read through almost 100 reviews with an average of 4.82/5.00 stars and thought these guys were too good to be true. Not so! They came in here and in 5 days, as promised, remodeled our entire second-floor bathroom at a very fair price. They replaced our tile floor with marble, replaced the vanity, sink, and toilet, and replaced a tired old bathtub with a walk-in shower that looks like it came out of a home design magazine. They also replaced 2 other toilets in our home while they were here. Were they timely? You could set your clock by these guys! They showed up every morning on time, worked non-stop, and cleaned up as they went, not they made much of a mess at all. I did a lot of this type of work in my younger days so I can be a bit judgmental, but I could not find one single issue with the work they did. Sergey was a pleasure to deal with. He answered emails and texts in a timely manner and did not sneak in any extra charges at the end. He gave us exactly what we asked for. His crew, Alex, Eugene, and Slavo (not sure I have the spellings correct) and his father were fantastic, each one a true craftsman. Trust me, I do not know any of these guys nor do I know anyone who knows them, and I am not related to them. This is a straight-up, 100% honest review. "Ani and his brother were timely, communicative and sent updates when each piece of work was done. The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"This was the second attempt to install my tub liner as the first installer cut the liner short and may have damage a couple of wall tiles in the process. A new tub liner had to be reordered and a different installer by the name of Paul Norton came out to the house to complete the job with a new liner. Paul was very courteous and professional in explaining everything that had to be done and even was able to repair the damaged tiles in a satisfactory manner. Except for the inconvenience of needing to have Bath Fitter come to my house for a second time to complete the job that should have been completed on the first try, I am happy with the final result and Especially the installer (PAUL NORTON) that came to the house the second time and finished the job. A Big Thank You to PAUL NORTON for a job well done."

"Provider was able to provide a showroom with products that he uses in his work.  He took the time to come to my home to make measurements and had a plan made up of the exact placement of tub, vanity, etc.   Provider had my husband and I come into his showroom and spent a long time with us picking out the specific products that we desired.  The work was delayed by 1 week due to an apparent delay in the delivery of the bathtub.  He and his workers were courteous and tried to keep the mess to a minimum but each day after they left I found myself picking up and cleaning for 1-2 hours because of dust and debris left on stairs and in entryway, hallway to bedrooms, etc.  The work itself took approximately 2 1/2 weeks.  My biggest complaint is that I paid the provider to paint the bathroom and had to approach him repeatedly about the poor job that was done with the paint, after complaining yet a third time he did send workers to repaint once again after which time I was satisfied.
