"'m sorry, I didn't answer earlier; I did not see this email until last Thursday, although I was looking for it. When I first spoke to he told me he can only come tomorrow at 7:30 in the morning to see the job and to discuss what he will do and give me a contract. I was reluctant to have him come this early beacause my son and husband would not be available but i agreed because I figured he was just coming to look. He came early and looked only in one place instead of looking around the whole house and told me that he is sure that I have a raccoon problem because of the opening in the eaves. He told me he wants to cover the hole with chicken wire and a one-way door and the raccoons will leave through the exit. I tried disputing this idea, but before we drafted a contract he went to work patching up the hole. It probably took around 20 minutes and he claimed he was finished. I was all alone, early in the morning for me, when i couldn't think straight, so I just wanted to finish up with him. I said the job was guaranteed for a full year so I asked him hw much I owed him and I paid him $800 cash. And he gave me a receipt marked "raccoon" and charged me the full price for trapping a raccoon, which he never did. When my son, who lives with me appeared, he was furious. He said the problem stemmed from a different hole, and the hole that he patched up was originally a small hole which he may have enlarged to convince me that I have racoons. I undersood that ithe same treatment for racoons would also solve the sqirrel problem. My son called him and lost his temper while confronting him with accusations that he was scamming us. He got insulted and hug up on him. The next day I called him and told him there was another hole to tackle, so he agreed to come the next day. He did come, and I showed him where the hole is. He saw that it would be quite difficult to access it. In the meantime, my son came out and tried to talk to him. The conversation got rowdy, he got offended, and, in short, refused to deal with us and ran away. Nothing was accomplished and he refused to set up some traps, which he could have easily done inside my house because I have trap doors to the eaves. We have done it in the past and were successful. That took place last week, and since then, I am at my wits' end. We have several squirrels running around in the attic, and I cannot call a roofer until I get rid of them. "After a week of disturbed sleep worrying about a bed bug situation, I contacted Ace Bed Bug. I had been in the apt of a good friend who unknowingly had bed bugs and I got bitten! I was horrified and rushed home only to worry that I brought them back with me. I called Ace and Luis immediately picked up the phone and was at my house by 8 AM that day after hearing my anxious voice. Luis is wonderful...a very reassuring and professional individual who listened carefully and empathetically to my hyper anxious concerns. He inspected all my furniture and asked where else I would like him to look. Thankfully, he did not find any bedbugs, but gave me great advice about how to spot and avoid them showing me an illustration of what the life cycle of a bed bug looks like and where to find them. I never realized how much an exterminator needs to be a therapist in these situations ....LOL. I highly recommend Luis for his skilled experience, kindness , promptness and patience. Thank You Luis! "After 15 years of being a loyal customer, I am SHOCKED by my most recent experience. It seems like it’s not coincidental that it was my most expensive to date. Suburban would only schedule an appointment to exterminate my current insect problem after I signed a contract and paid $647. We paid, scheduled an appointment and they failed to show after we waited the full 4 hour window on a Friday. With little to no apology, they said they could only reschedule almost a week later. Unacceptable as the insects were multiplying! After speaking with a manager, he guaranteed an 8:00 am appointment on Monday (today). We have written confirmation from the manager. We texted again this morning to confirm. No technician came at 8!!!!! The manager never called back after “checking on it.” Needless to say, when I requested a refund and a call from his supervisor, I heard back from no one! It’s 3:20…crickets (no pun intended). They have no problem holding my money hostage and failing to deliver the contracted service. SHAME ON YOU, SUBURBAN! You’re not the only game in town."
