"What started as a roofing job spiraled quickly into a huge job. Parapet replacement. New skylights. New gutters. The works. Chatel Construction handled every single aspect of the job. Scaffolding , sub-contractor, compliance, permits, etc. In NYC permitting is one of the most difficult obstacles to navigate. Scott was in constant contact with all of my neighbors. He kept them informed and assuaged any concerns they had. He even paid for one tenant’s dry cleaning because their coats got dusty. I found Scott through one of my neighbors who has been using him for his brownstone for decades. I certainly intend to do the same."

The job was was in a co-op, with very frustrating "rules" and "requirements ". Most contractors would not want to participate (paperwork, time schedules and parking restrictions).
