Get matched with top contractors in Old Bethpage, NY

"We started out with a budget just for the kitchen to repaint the kitchen cabinets, replace the flooring with porcelain tiles, redo the peninsula, use quartz for the counter tops, add recess lighting, and center the lighting fan. Into the job, based on Harvey's excellent advice, we decided to get new kitchen cabinets, have Harvey and his team build storage cabinets above the new cabinets instead of having a soffit built in that open space. We also had a pantry rebuilt by Harvey and his team as well. Lastly we had the peninsula changed to an island with cabinets added underneath as well. Also, we decided to redo the small (powder) bathroom on the main floor. Harvey and his team were awesome. He was very patient in allowing us to make changes to the original plans that turned out quite outstanding. His team always showed up early for work. The quality of the work was simply outstanding. Instead of half doing things like what we got with the Home Depot contractors in years prior, Harvey and his team took things back to the studs and made sure the things were built the right way. I now feel very confident about what is behind the walls and how the work was done. I will attached pictures of the kitchen and bathroom by next week. We are still putting things back into the new cabinets now and etc. We are extremely happy with the work Harvey and his team did. We intend to use them for a few other projects in the future. If you're really thinking about having work done on your home, I would highly recommend that you speak with Harvey to have his team come to do an amazing job for you as well. He will work with you on to provide competitive pricing. In the end it's all about quality work that you can feel great about. We feel great!!!!!!! :)"

"Fine Design did a great job on our bathroom from the gutting to the finish. Dave and Lenny were easy to work with and the workers were great! Cleaned everything up each day and were very polite. The quality of the work is outstanding. Everyone was very professional and was a much more pleasant experience compared to other contractors I have used. Thanks again-I highly recommend Fine Design."

"Nunez’s team did a fantastic job! We are super happy with everything! They are reasonable and the quote I received didn’t change. They also cleaned up when they finished the project (mopping and dusting). We have other projects and will definitely be hiring Nunez. I highly recommend. I highly recommend this contractor."

"Jakob is with you every step of your project. Takes great pride in his work and wonâ t leave things undone like so many other contractors. Always available and goes out of his way to make sure customer is 100% satisfied. My daughter is now using Jakob to renovate her entire house and is thrilled with the work and service."

"We hired Robert and his company to remodel our whole garage. The work was done perfectly and we have nothing that we are unhappy about. Everything was done perfect. Robert and his workers are the most trustworthy , friendly and nice. They are the best contractor I have ever had. They truly cared about my project and were there to answer all the questions I had. They fixed all of my issues in the garage. They were on time, within budget and cleaned everything up after they were finished. No mess was left. I highly recommend Robert to anyone looking to hire a contractor for their Home Improvement Project."

"Homecraft did an exquisite and flawless job remodeling our bathroom. We particularly appreciated the undivided attention that is allowed by their appointment system for consultations. They worked with us to customize the features to suit our needs and were open and creative in responding to our non-standard requests. The carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and tile work were performed by craftsmen who were clearly masters of their trades. Our old house served up a few surprises during the remodeling but Homecraft was able to resolve every problem with their connections to top-notch contractors outside of their usual services."

"He did a lot of work in my office from fixing light fixtures, repairing an a/c, roof leaks etc and everything he has done for us has been great!"

"The work was done very nite and profesional and the contractor was on time with the entire project and the final project turned out beutiful. And i willing to recomenden and hire him again"

"We recently hired Milton and his team for a large scaled renovation job for our basement. The job included floor leveling, vinyl flooring installation, interior painting, and electrical work. We are very pleased with how well the job was done. The team was incredibly efficient, detailed, and professional. Very easy to communicate! We would 100% have Milton back for other tasks and also refer him to our neighbours and friends."

This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction.

Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company.  He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all.  Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result.  As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc.

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

I would not hesitate to recommend Art DeRosa & Co for any planned New House and/or House Renovation of any kind.
