Tim did an amazing job remodeling my kitchen and dining room. He was very professional. After gutting both rooms, Tim put in new flooring, countertops, cabinets, redirected plumbing to move the sink and dishwasher. Installed all of my appliances, painted, hung new molding etc. I could not be happier with his work

I am a realtor in NYS and I had Chosen Home Builders remodel a couple houses that I was selling. They all sold within days of listing because the remodel was done so well. They did a complete remodel down to furnace and utilities plus all the necessary things to make a house look beautiful. Not to mention they show up, do the job and are right on schedule with completion. They communicate with you and keep you updated on any unforeseen material issues. I have not been let down and when I am ready to do work on my own personal home, I will be calling Tim at Chosen Home Builders

Tim did a complete remodel of our main bathroom. He was extremely professional & courteous through out the while processes. He showed up on time and the work was great. For the materials we provided (cabinets, countertops, tiles, etc.), he gave us some suggestions on where to shop and who to talk to. He also helped us pick the right items and make sure we were getting good deals! He went the extra mile to make sure the whole process was as pain free as possible! And had the entire job done ahead of schedule! I highly recommend him and frequently give people his info when they need work done

  • Charles Heating and Air Conditioning
Zack at Charles scheduled the appointment to replace my worn-out furnace humidifier very promptly. The crew - Jeremy, Rick, Brian Cooper - came on time. They were very courteous and did a very neat job. They wore masks as we requested. They gave me a brief, very helpful explanation of how the new humidifier works, how to change the media, how to change the bypass damper for summer A/C and so on. I like the Aprilaire humidifier that was provided. It is easier to open and replace the media than the previous Skuttle product. All in all very satisfied. Several years ago I had an emergency service to replace a failed water heater. My layout requires a power vent unit so it is a little special. Installer did a very good job on that as well, and the product has been good

The team was willing to evaluate the various ideas i had for relocating plumbing for a washer hook up. Once we determined the most practical path they got right to work and this particular task was done in one day. The team was easy to work with and talk to.

Great! Fonseca & Griffin were attentive to concerns and did a great job with no issues. Crew were friendly and polite. They cleaned up after themselves with little evidence remaining. I've recommended them to many neighbors, friends and family.

  • Do It Right Plumbing Inc
Great service. Called them and they sent someone the next day to repair a broken pipe. Not only did they discover the pipe was broken, it was also split. It was repaired and attached under the camp. Very reasonable rates, prompt service. I would recommend them to anyone. It's nice having someone reliable to do buisness with

  • Charles Heating and Air Conditioning
Very well. The installers were Dave & John, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the work they did over the course of the 3 days it took to get the job done. They arrived on time, were polite, answered all the questions we had, and their work was done in a neat and professional manner. I would definitely hire them again, and would recommend Charles HVAC Co

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
