We noticed that when we ran our hose water was leaking from the indoor wall. Called D'Amico and they within a few hours of me calling. The tech initially was concerned that there was a water line leak, checked for that, and ruled that out. He then got to the hose bib and saw there was a small leak, got a replacement and installed that. I would happily use them again if we needed plumbing work done.

Extremely satisfied. When I questioned the original diagnosis they took time to explain to me in detail where I was incorrect. The young man who arrived was courteous, respectful and very personable. He removed the old pump, showed me what was wrong with it, purchased a new pump, returned and replaced it. I couldn't be more satisfied!

I contacted D'Amico Plumbing to clean out a sewer line. They were prompt in their response but failed to open up the drain and charged my credit card full price anyway. They blamed it on the fact that the plumbing had been re-routed into the house trap and they had no way to access the main sewer line. Their remedy to "repair" this was to excavate outside the house and install a sewer clean out there. I said I would like to get a second opinion since it was a big project and did not want to incur more costs than necessary.
I contacted another local septic company and they were there the next day and had the drain line opened in half an hour. One of the first things the service technician said when he saw the current drain was "they (D'Amico Plumbing) were trying to snake the drain out in the wrong location."
I attempted to contact Mr. D'Amico to ask for a refund but he never returned my phone call.
I should also mention that I have had several other plumbing companies there on several other occasions (the tenants were flushing feminine products down the drain), and every single time the other companies have been able to open up the drain.
I'm very disappointed that i'm getting charged for their incompetence.

Our sewage had backed up. The company came out and cleaned out the pipe and found tree roots. Two weeks later, we had the same problem. I called them, scheduled a time. The guy was suppose to come at 3, he finally called me at 4 and said that he would have to reschedule due to a job that he was working on taking too long. We rescheduled for the next day. He ended up having to reschedule that day too. He said that he could come out the next morning, a Saturday. I told him fine but I wasn't going to pay overtime charges, he said that we shouldn't have to, but that he'd have to check with his boss. He called me back and said that the boss told him he'd have to charge overtime fees. So I didn't schedule for the weekend. After we finally got the guy to come out, he told us what he thought might be wrong and said that he'd get back to us in a day or two with an estimate. The worker, John seemed very nice, strait forward, honest and trustworthy, but overworked. It took almost two weeks to hear back from him with an estimate. I have had no problem with their workers, but in short, I do not trust the management or trust what they are going to say.

I hired D'Amico Plumbing to fix the water temperature in our bathtub which was a relatively simple fix. The repair man didn't cover the tub and some solder dripped down to the bottom of the tub near the drain and melted the surface. The tub is a Bathfitter tub liner so the solder completely ruined it and required a complete replacement which is about $1,500. Rather than submit an insurance claim or own up to the damage, D'Amico refused to replace the tub liner. I had to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I would never hire these guys to do anything unless you're OK with the damage they'll cause and then refuse to pay for.

"D'Amico Plumbing & Heating responded to this complaint promptly and offered to repair the damage to the tub at no cost and the customer did not like the resolution offered. The customer wanted full replacement of the tub liner by a specific company. We then requested to make the repair first and if the repair did not resolve the issue as anticipated we would move forward with a full tub liner replacement. This offer was rejected as well. The BBB closed the complaint on June 1, 2012 with the following commentary: "Although the consumer has not expressed satisfaction in the resolution of the complaint, the BBB has determined that the response from your company addresses the disputed issues and exhibits a good faith effort to try to resolve the complaint. Therefore, the BBB has decided to close the complaint.""

I use them on and off for about 20 years. They stated sending out people that I don't know and the work was so so. They dug up my front lawn and left it with broken pipe. I was very unhappy with it. But my pipe is replaced and it is working. I was really disappointed that they left my lawn a mess.
