I said no, thanks. The next year I hired another service - Emener ([*** Link removed ***] - which told me that the chimney was actually in good shape and pretty clean considering how much we use the fireplace. 5 Star clearly used its promotional offer as a way to upsell an expensive add-on that I am now convinced wasn't needed. Beware of deals that look too good to be true."
