"A huge tree limb broke off a large tree and fell on to my yard. They arrived at my house about an hour after i called for an estimate. he then called me and said they could remove the the large4 branch and clear the area in about an hour. They arrived about an hour later with a wood chipper and climbed the tree to saw off the the split branch remaining on the tree and cleared the branch and leaves and other debris, The job was completed about four hours after I called them. Excellent service"

Customers say: Quality work

"Jose Escalera and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Flexible, responsive, had good creative suggestions based upon experience, finished the job in a timely manner with everything cleaned and debris carted away. The finished walkway looks great and is well made. After interviewing three contractors, we are so glad we went with Jose and his crew. I recommend him highly. AC South Salem, NY"

His crew worked hard to get the job done all very respectful I have no more leaks or drainage issues thanks to him and his team. I also recommended him to all my neighbors for any of their future jobs. He also replaced all my downspout gutters to 4inch and also did an excellent job!!!!!!!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.

If lead is detected in a property, steps should include arranging for professional removal or containment, notifying all occupants, and implementing interim safety measures to reduce exposure.
