After filling out the job description, Mr. Ken Keyser contacted me the same day! His responsiveness is commendable! He provided an R.O.M. estimate over the phone, and made the appointment for the following Monday! Again, showing short of lead time responsiveness! His knowledge, and expertise of repair, and retexturing of the ceiling was greater than expectations, and the total cost was considerably less than the verbal estimate! Mr. Keyser exceeded my expectations for quality of the work, and in cost savings! I would highly recommend Ken's Drywall Repair, for the experience, responsiveness, and quality of workmanship! "Marty was very quick to respond. He gave me an estimate when he said, but he did forget a wall. Him and his team had great turnaround time for drywall. They did not always come when they said and did cake when I wasn’t expecting them. If you have a VERY clear expectation of what you need these guys are great. I had a few odd things and apparently didn’t explain exactly what I wanted. They are drywall guys and not contractors. I also expected the room to be cleaned up and ready to paint when I was done. It wasn’t. I had to spend a lot of time wiping down the walls and cleaning joint compound off the floor. Even a once over with a vacuum would have been nice. I do feel I got what I paid for and they did get back to me within days."

"I met with the owner and he was very personable and straightforward. I have been dealing with a leak in my kitchen and unfortunately fell victim to shotty roofers fixing the shingles and not the bricks. The bricks needed to be repaired. Finally after 3 crappy roof jobs . I called . They capped my roof and did a wonderful job . No leak now after 3 long years . I did call around for pricing and Finos was very reasonable."

"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."

"So happy we chose R&D for our exterior wall repairs! they were great to work with throughout the process of what turned out to be a complicated issue. Their communication was really appreciated as they dug into things and problem solved some unique issues with how the previous home owners had cut corners on the house. R&D wasn’t the cheapest initial bid we received but I have no doubt that we would have wound up paying more in the end for a lower quality result with anyone else. Thanks guys!"
