"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Communication was excellent from the initial quote through completion of the project. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. "The fence is up which is why I gave 2 stars. Otherwise it took longer than expected and he never put the fence caps on, kept stringing me along about when he was coming to do it. Then eventually blocked me all together. So my fence has no caps and he didn't remove all of existing fence pieces. A lot of money for an unfinished job and poor communication. Not to mention he was pretty inappropriate towards me... Used his business as a means to flirt and make suggestive comments."
