"This is not my first review of Joe's Plumbing but they just keep knocking it out of the park. Decided to do pipe replacement on a 60 year old home do to multiple leaks. Wanted to get it done before the cold came, and Joe's did the job on time, under budget, and the quality was second to none. When they found they couldn't turn the water off from the street, they kept moving on the job and did a fantastic job. Joe's was the first called and they have not let me down yet. While some of these symptoms, like uneven cooling, can have other root causes, they are common indicators of compressor problems.

Troubleshooting common issues with your AC often sheds light on a problem with the compressor. Signs that you need to replace a bad compressor include your AC blowing warm air, short cycling (turning on and off), making strange noises, and blowing less air overall. Since these problems can stem from several areas of your AC, always call a local AC repair team to confirm it's the compressor.

There are two main reasons your furnace and AC are turning on at the same time. The first could be that you’re confusing the furnace with the blower. The blower is located in the furnace and will turn on to distribute cool air from the air conditioner through the ductwork in the home. This is normal. If the actual furnace is turning on at the same time as the AC and hot and cool air are coming into the home, it could be a result of incorrect writing to a new thermostat or new systems.

Ideally, an AC system should never need more Freon (a popular refrigerant) because it circulates in a closed loop.
