They repaired our 20 year-old system with expertise, professionalism, and extreme responsivenesss. Wide-ranging know-how of both electrical and A/C systems was needed, as well as plumbing experience. Other service providers were not interested in repair; they just wanted to provide a link to a new installation. We know we will need a replacement system in the near future, and will turn to Dand J for an honest, cost-effective installation relevant to our needs.

Our HVAC A/C system, which is 20 years old, had numerous things wrong with it. Some involved worn out parts or wiring, and there is always the question of the condenser. Other HVAC service companies had no interest in repair: â Replaceâ was their repeated mantra. D and J brought their expertise, professionalism, customer service, and kindness to bear. We know we will have to replace the system in the near future, but now we have the time we need to save up and really find out what we need. Junior and the others did a great job!

Good work But not cheap

D&J HVAC actually call back when you leave a message, they give detailed estimates with reasonable prices and they know their stuff. Instead of replacing my 2 units, that still had some life, they replaced parts and got it going in less than 7 hours.

I had a problem with my Gas furnace, which they came and fixed last November,. Cost $800. Two months later, the furnace died again. They came out and said it needed a new circuit board, and that the furnace was very old and I should get a new one. Wish they had told me that back in November.

The problem was a leaking tub faucet control. Was given an appointment for 10:00AM ( not â between 8 and 12, or 8 And 5 ) and they were here at 10 ! Went straight to work , disassembled the control and removed the cartridge which needed to be replaced. Left to obtain the parts needed from a local plumbing supply. Returned with one of the two parts needed (supplier did not have the second part on hand ). D&J installed the first part so water could be restored to rest of house and told us they would be back 8:30AM the next day. At 8:30 they were at the door and finished the repair. A short time later received an email itemized bill, listing the two parts replaced, their price ( not inflated above MSRP ) and labor cost. Very reasonable and appropriate price. Totally unlike another local firm that presents a cardiac inducing bill and refuses to itemize.

The two gentlemen, both named Kevin, arrived at the time agreed and performed an inspection of my HVAC system. They were very thorough and professional. I was very favorably impressed by their work ethic and I would absolutely hire them again.

George (he goes by the name “Junior”) and John installed a water heater that I bought from Home Depot. All went well eventually, but George made me very nervous because he rolled and dragged the old water heater across the entire basement and then up the stairs by himself, then he tipped it slightly and rolled it on its bottom side edge all the way through my kitchen floor and the breezeway floor to the outside. Both the kitchen floor and the floor are expensive Pergo, and I was afraid he was going to scratch a lot of it. The heater dropped some water, rust, and dirt on the kitchen floor. He should have used the handtruck that was right next to him in the and rolled it to the outside with the hand truck. He was impatient and said he didn’t want to stand doing nothing and wanted to save time while John had gone to get a part they needed (John was gone for only 10 minutes.) He then rolled in the new hot water heater on the handtruck, then when he reached the door to the cellar he took it off the handtruck and said he was going to slide the water heater down the stairs by himself, instead of waiting for John to return and go down the stairs and grab the bottom of the heater while George held the top, then the two of them could have safely and easily carried the water heater down the stairs and across the cellar to the location that they were installing it at. floor until they got it to the place it was being installed at. to help him. I protested his doing it himself, and he said if he damaged the heater doing it himself then he would pay for a new replacement out of his own pocket.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and overall great work. Will be hiring again for future projects.

Service was handled quickly and professionally. Junior was very knowledgeable and very hard-working, and did a good job of explaining future maintenance to me. They removed an old furnace and installed a heat pump. I would gladly hire them again.

The project was professionally completed. They showed up on time on both occasions. The work turned out fine.

They also repair split AC units.
