"From the beginning Dom was amazing. Dom had better credentials and was more prepared (even bringing samples of products he uses) then others quoted. His proposal was extremely thorough & itemized each products name. He used all top of the line products (i.e. GAF) & is one of the few GAF approved licensed contractors. His team is professional, thorough and clean. His foremen George has worked with him for 30 years which proves how great a company D&S is. Not only did the new roof end up looking amazing, they even hung up new shutters for us (which Dom was able to get us a discount on) & included gutters and screens. He was very fair with price compared to others that we quoted. Dom's biggest concern was us being happy & we were start to finish. If that wasn't enough, he even got our 6 year old son a D&S sweatshirt! This is a top of the line company, family owned with workers that have served for years & understand what quality & customer service truly are. Thank you Dom & team!"

"The initial meeting with John was promising. He was straightforward, easy to talk to, and quickly provided a quote without being pushy. I appreciated that he offered light recommendations without trying to upsell us. After that first meeting, I felt comfortable moving forward. I had John come out one more time so my boyfriend could meet him, ask a few more questions, and finalize the siding and color choices. The next morning, John texted early, saying he’d be by within the hour to pick up the $10,000 deposit. We were told materials would be ordered right away and the project would begin by the end of the month. However, as that date approached, we hadn’t heard anything. When we reached out, we were told it would be delayed by another week — and then again, another week. We were okay with some delays, but the complete lack of communication was extremely frustrating, especially since we needed to coordinate our work schedules. We were also told the work wouldn’t involve anything on the inside, but that turned out not to be true — which was a big issue since we have two pets. During the project, our flower beds and garden were completely destroyed. While some wear and tear is expected, there was no reason for a large boxwood bush to be crushed with a cinder block when there was clearly space to work around it. Several things were damaged, including blinds, window sills, a shelf, and part of the entrance flooring. While I understand that accidents happen during construction, what bothered us most was the lack of accountability. None of these issues were addressed until we specifically called them back out to deal with them. John never showed up for a single walkthrough, and to our surprise, the entire job was done by a different company altogether — not his own crew. That was something we hadn't anticipated, and unfortunately, we didn’t think to confirm it beforehand again our fault. The windows installed were low quality and very off-brand compared to what we expected. We had also discussed having decorative grills/grid lines in the windows, which were completely left out. In the end, while everything listed in the contract was technically delivered, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The workmanship felt sloppy, communication was almost nonexistent, and the lack of oversight from the owner was disappointing. We definitely feel we overpaid for what we received. It’s partly on us for not being more proactive during the process, but someone who takes pride in their business would have at least done one final inspection or walkthrough."

"It went great! Eric and his crew did a great job! Showed up every day, on time, worked clean, didn't leave debris behind when the job was done. I even had them cut a new double window on the side of the house. He was the only contractor who did his best to give me the type of siding I wanted and brought me samples of what I wanted. Eric also replaced two attic fans on my roof prior to starting the siding job. I would use P17 Construction again, in a heartbeat. He was reasonably priced and did a great job! Thanks, Eric!"

"While I was happy with their work and the final product, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and follow up. I was stood up several times without any one contacting me to let me know they weren’t showing. Totally frustrated I wanted to speak with the owner or at least the manager to let them know. I called and specifically asked for either one. I was told he was unavailable but was assured he would call me back. Needless to say I never heard from him. After spending $43000, the courtesy of a return call would have been appreciated."
