"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. "Bobby and his crew answered all my questions, they were respectful and extremely helpful. Bobby and crew went above and beyond what was on the contract. My house looks beautiful, they power washed entire building, pained the sidewall of the building with thorocoat, front of house was pointed where necessary and applied waterproofing sealer, glass block window, painted stoop and stairs, cemented cracks on stoop and sidewalk, painted outside railing and applied cement in basement where needed. I have to say some of what was done wasnâ  t even on the contract, so they went above what was expected and to my surprise Bobby didnâ  t charge extra. Being a single woman who has had bad experiences with contractors and their disgraceful personalities, having Bobby and his crew work on my property was a pleasure and breath of fresh air. Our washer was not emptying to the cesspool, was backing up and draining to the basement floor, we researched a few cesspool companies and was impressed with the reviews and lack of complaints thru Angie's List and the BBB. From the 1st phone call, they were friendly, courteous and prompt.

When the technician came he assessed the problem, pumped out 1000 gallons and told us we would need a new pool. The pools are 45 years old, made of cinderblock and were approx. 20 feet down. He gave us a price, we scheduled the work.

They arrived on time and when they opened the pool it was almost full, again They ran into a few problems and solved them (no additional cost to us). The work was completed to our satisfaction I would highly recommend this company. Everyone was efficient, did what was expected in a highly proficient manner. The crew and owner very friendly, took their time to explain everything and my son in law has made a new friend!
