Did a great job, more than I expected

I FEEL VERY LUCKY TO HAVE CHOSEN HOME HEALTHY HOMES TO INSTALL MY SUMP PUMP AND TO RID MY BASEMENT OF MOLD THAT HAD ACCUMULATED OVER THE YEARS. I SPOKE WITH GLEN WHO DID NOT PUT ANY PRESSURE ON MY DECIDING IF I SHOULD USE HIS COMPANY OR NOT. HE PATIENTLY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGE. THE CREW WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND WORK NEATLY WEVE HAD SEVEN STRAIGHT SATURDAYS OF RAIN AND I HAVEN'T HAD A DROP OF MOISTURE IN THE BASEMENT! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH GLEN OF HOME HEALTHY HOMES, GLAD I CHOOSE THIS COMPANY.

His foreman and crew were wonderful and professional. The job was done in 2 days, and we could not be more satisfied with the job that was done.

Glen Apfelbaum was incredibly responsive and worked very hard to earn my trust as I was monitoring the job from out of town. He tailored the job to my needs and left the job site clean and mold free.

He took the time to educate us, patiently answered questions, made sure to understand our situation, and made honest recommendations on what he felt would be best for my family and my home. I hired Glenn and his company, Home Healthy Homes, in June of 2021 after a sales call with Paul. I'd been having issues with a basement flooding in a rental home I own. I was considering just filling in the basement when I met with Paul. Paul convinced me that his system would fix the water issues for me, and that I didn't have to lose the space. He told me that the trick was to big a trench around the perimeter of the basement down to the footing of the house and install a system of drains and pumps. He also told me that I had mold and he would remediate it for me once the water problem was under control. I trusted his expertise and moved forward with his proposal. Within a few months my basement was completely flooded again. My tenant's personal property was destroyed and is now leaving over the matter. A structural engineer has advised me that there is very likely damage to the foundation of my house. The system Home Healthy Homes specified was inappropriate and should have never been installed to begin with. When I contacted Home Healthy Homes about the issue they were responsive at first. I spoke to Steve, who handles scheduling. He sent by their service tech, Dan. When he saw the status of my basement he was in shock and said there was nothing he could do. He agreed to have the owner contact me to discuss a refund. Glenn came by a few days later and also appeared to be in shock when he saw my basement. He told me that he would need to consult an expert to try and find a solution. When I told him that I didn't think there was a solution and the basement should have been filled in from the beginning he agreed with me. He then said he would get back to me about a refund. I haven't heard from him since. I hope that in sharing my experience I will help someone else avoid this pitfall of a company. In my opinion, Glenn sells a one-size-fits-all solution and does not have the proper waterproofing knowledge someone who calls themselves an expert should have. When things go wrong he simply disappears and hides his head in the sand. BUYER BEWARE!

Job went well and they finished right on time. Very professional

These people treated me (a woman) with respect and did not talk down to me. They explained everything in detail. The work was done with as little disruption as possible, on time, on budget. There were no surprises, and no up-front deposit required. Now we have to wait for the next heavy rain to see if it keeps the basement dry! Diane Marley

The mold problem in my basement was so bad that the mold accessor told me not to go in the basement anymore and to see my DR. Thats how bad it was. I interviewed 5 companys and the one thing that made me choose Home Healthy Homes is Glen was the only one who told me tape the basement door so that the bad air doesnt come in the kitchen. That made my decision. His men were prompt and courteous. On the 2nd mold assessment there was one small part that didnt pass so I called Glen and he sent the crew back to fix the problem. I then called the accessor and on the 3rd assessment he said the basement was mold free and the air quality was excellent. I was finally able to remove the tape from my basement door. Bottom line, I now have a safe basement for my children and grandchildren.

Glen and his team were outstanding throughout the entire mold remediation process. I could tell from the first time I met Glen that he was the right man for the job. His professionalism and communication skills where top notch. Will be definitely be using Glen for further business!

We tried various things to stop over 30 years of basement flooding. Nothing worked until we hired Home Healthy Homes. They did the job exactly as they said they would and right on time. Their work was amazing and, best of all, we had a huge rainfall just two days after the job was completed and our basement was totally dry! Trust this company to do what they promise and do it exceedingly well. I highly recommend them.

We wanted to finish our basement but was hesitant bc of our flooding problems. Home healthy homes solved that for us. They came in waterproofed and removed all mold. We have had heavy rainstorms since and no more floods! Glen and the team are so professional and could not be more helpful. They are reasonable and worth every dime! Highly highly recommend!! They go above and beyond.
