Pro Home and SunroomsWe had a three-season room built on top of an existing deck. The owner was involved every step of the way. He came out for the initial consultation, and was around just about every day during construction to update us on progress and timelines. He and the construction crew were personable and upfront with any issues they encountered. During construction, the crew found significant wood rot and water damage left to us from a previous owner. They informed us of the damage, gave us some options, and performed the repairs themselves, all for what we considered a very reasonable price. We really appreciated the level of communication and them being forward about this, and are grateful for the repairs. The room is just what we envisioned, and we are very happy with the results. We would highly recommend Pro Home and Sunrooms. The one small thing we'd change would be the amount of communication we received prior to the work starting. Construction was delayed by COVID-19, not due to Pro Home and Sunrooms, and we had to reach out to the owner once our initial start date had come and gone for a new schedule.- kevin b.

Scott Hadfield ConstructionScott arrived on time and began working immediately. They removed the old deck and had a dumpster to remove all the old wood. He sugged I use spindles for this deck and it really turned out to be a good suggestion Scott and his crew cleaned up after themselves every day. Benson EnterprisesThe work was to replace an old one that was inadequate and heaved and fell after 8 years of installation. Had drainage issues and needed multiple drains to move the water away. It was a difficult job. I had at least 15 people give me at least 15 ways to fix this issue. The more they talked, I discovered they don't know what they're talking about! I got a card in the mail from Benson Enterprises; answered it. They're professional and knew exactly what to do to solve the problems. It wasn't cheap but reasonable for the work they did.- Jane F.

Polizzi Development CorpI called a lot of companies for estimates, they were the first to show up and I would say the pricing is fair since nothing is cheap anymore. The whole crew was very nice and courteous, they always showed up on time and never messed with my morning routine. Any time that I had questions or wanted to make changes they were always very understanding and really took the time to make sure it came out just the way I wanted. They were neat and orderly, never left my house a mess. They gave me a rough idea on how long it would take and they finished on time. Everything came out great, I would reccomend them to anyone! We were blessed when we bought our home 4 years ago that all the previous homeowners did an amazing job with maintenance and upgrades over the years. The only deficiency was that the home still had its original 30 year old windows. We knew from day one that we needed to replace them sooner than later. We saved up and finally called highly-recommended Comfort Windows last August. Our salesperson, Don, was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained all our options in great detail without any pressure tactics. We chose the window line manufactured by Comfort Windows themselves in Syracuse. 20 windows, triple-paned, one layer of Low-E coating and argon filling. Our house is a traditional colonial so we stuck with the grids on the front but left them out in the rear. We even changed some windows to picture windows. Wow! What an amazing great decision. The light and views are just gorgeous. We also replaced a sliding door between the house and a sunroom addition. Comfort Windows are great quality and affordable. The craftsmanship is top notch. Great value for the product. Like many others acknowledged, our project was delayed by 3 months due to the pandemic. We were originally given a November installation time frame, but didn’t get them installed until February. The real heroes of this project were Paul and Chris. Temperatures in the teens, thick snowpack, heavy lake effect snow, nothing stopped these guys. They were very professional, polite, COVID conscious, and did quality workmanship through some really tough weather conditions. A few other guys popped in here and there to lend a hand, but I didn’t get to meet them. Paul and Chris were “our guys” and we welcomed them into our home like family. When all said and done, we absolutely love our new Comfort Windows. The energy efficiency ratings are spectacular and we can’t wait until we stick it to RG&E. We used a thermometer to check the difference. While it was 12-degrees outside, our original double-paned windows averaged 40 degrees on the face. Imagine, that’s like leaving multiple refrigerators wide open 24/7. The new Comfort Windows were 60 to 65 degrees on the face of the glass. What a difference! We actually had to turn down our thermostat because we were sweating at night. The windows are gorgeous and you can just tell that they were built to last well into the future. A great investment with no buyers remorse. You just can’t beat Comfort Windows. Don’t believe the hype of the overrated national brand. How can a window made to be “one size fits all” serve the climates of California, Florida, Arizona and the winters of New York? These windows are made in New York. These windows are made for New York. Support local businesses and local hard working men and women.

We followed Ken's suggestion for an architect and had our drawings done. Ken did an estimate for us but then wasn't able to begin the project for a 8 or 9 months. We waited a year and were ready to review a final estimate based on some changes we made to get the costs down. We cut several thousand dollars out by changing some of the materials. When we asked Ken to see where he could make some reductions, he said he would. Then we never heard from him again. After waiting all that time, he just up and left with no explanation and no communication! We had to start the whole process over of finding another contractor. While Ken seems professional, in the end he was anything but.

Being in a related construction field for two decades, rarely have I seen contractor's this good. Meticulous, skilled and a complete knowledge and willingness to deliver expert craftsmanship. Also, communication between material vendors was on point and any issues resolved promptly. I am impressed!
