Brian did a great job grounding and bonding our above ground pool and installing a full house surge protector. He was courteous, punctual, and always accessible throughout the process and did a thorough job explaining the job, what he was doing, and why. I felt very comfortable with him working in and around my home and yard. He is easy to talk to, has a good sense of humor, and was quick to schedule and complete the job, despite challenges with the weather. He followed up after the work to make sure the third-party inspection and town inspection went well. Because our home is a recent build, this was the first time we worked with an electrician. I would definitely contact Brian and his team in the future for any electrical work needs we have.

I think his name is Brian. He is wonderful. I used him a few times. I haven't had electric needs since then. He was really great suggesting some practical ideas. Quality I'd give him an "A". I thought he did really great work. My lights are even. He was really kind to the fireplace. He drilled through the walls to make like a bypass behind the fireplace into a bookcase. I think he was really good that way. I like the fact that he had some really valid suggestions to update my 1950's house and these were things that was not of a curtainaire. That could be done because of plaster walls and plaster ceilings. He showed up, he left, it was fine, cleaned up after himself.

The problem I had with him is that he was trying to push for me to do more than I wanted done. I think what he did was fine. He was out within a week. He was very punctual.

They are pricey. I was not satisfied. There was something going on with his phone or something. He was very professional and very friendly. We got into a chat and found that I had a loose fan box and he went ahead and put in a new fan box and charged me for the fan box and the installation of the fan box, which I thought was little too much. Other than that, he was very good. He did a nice job putting up the ceiling fan but it was extra cost that threw me. He charged me almost $8 for a wood box and he charged me for taking my old fan down, I thought that should have been included in the installation. Taking down the new fan should have been part of installing the new fan. He also charged me for installing a fan box, which is just a little box that goes up in the ceiling. He didn’t even tell me he was going to charge me that much. What made me decide to go with him is Angie’s List, it was a specials, I paid the man a specials. He did the cleanup. He was a very good electrician.

The technician was a nice and he arrived on time. However, they were very much overpriced. After the work was completed, he gave me the original price of $800. With the Big Deal, he took $200 off of the cost. The way the deal was presented, it appeared that the coupon should have covered about $200 worth of work. We checked around in this area and I found that other electricians would have charged much less for this job. The quality of work was good, but the price was overcharged. I would not hire him again.

Took the entire 2 hours to do this one task, then charged us an additional 2 hours of labor without telling us first what his hourly rate would be. Not only was it more than we expected, but his work was sloppy and we have since had to re-do most of it.
Response from Unlimited Electric
"The customer was extremely happy when we completed this installation,It was not an easy cut and dry installation, we need to open wall to gain wiring access to area above fireplace customer was made aware that wall repair and repaint was not included. They were also were informed the work would take longer than the 2 hour deal. They approved the work We apologize for any miss communication."

The provider didn't come out 1st time he said he would to look at the job. He said he would come by when he was in my area for his daughter's soccer game, but may have forgotten. I spoke with him a while later and he recommended that he look at what needed to be done. When he did come out, he said that he was going to apply his time to come out and look at the job to the special that I had purchased. Unfortunately, that did not leave enough time to do the one job that I wanted to get done and I could not afford to commit to his estimated amount of time at the regular rate. I was going to have my son use the remainder, but my son was already using someone else and had no use for it.

The experience with Unlimited Electric was not good. First of all, the appointment was made because he would work with my husband, I was on my way out of town because we had a death in the family, I called my husband later on the day to see how it went, he says fine, he was a little messy because he left the clippings of the wiring just behind on the counters and my husband kept cleaning it up. He also charged him $400 and the deal was $99 for two hours worth of work. I emailed him and I asked him why, give me a listed invoice of what parts that would cost over $500. I never got an invoice from it. I emailed him again and he said that he usually charges a flat rate. I said I know but this is through Angie's List and for two hours, I was supposed to have $99 worth of work. I can understand charging me for part but there is no way that the parts that he gave which was a couple of switch plates, a couple of covers, he installed a light switch but my husband already bought those parts, anyways it didn't add up. At the time of the appointment, he also gave us a panel box to be done. He said to me "you're obviously not happy, I want to make it good, let's just go on, I'll give you a deal on the panel box to make up for what we already charged. I said I will ave to talk to my husband about it. In the meantime, I go back to the switch that he installed in the bathroom and it isn't working so I emailed them and I said again, this isn't working, I would like you to come back and I do not want to be charged. There was some delay, he said he never got the message so when I emailed him again. He said okay, fine, I'll take a look at it. He came out and it isn't working. It had something to do with the circuit breaker off again. He repaired two other light switched, one in the garage and one outside that was on the same circuit as the switch to the bathroom and that was all well done. I heard a crash when he was here and I asked him if he was okay, he said I just dropped the panel board. My husband comes home and he finds a blinds that was on the window down there on the floor and he goes what happened here? I said I don't know. He looked at the window and it actually was broken off where it was attached to the window so I said that must have been the crash but he didn't tell me he had a problem with the window shade. To make a long story short, he doesn't want him in the house again, we're not going to go back to him for the panel, obviously. It's just one thing after another. He insisted the first time here that it had to be a certain switch because it was near water which I understand. He came back, he switched it back to the old type of outlet that has nothing to do with the water but he didn't tell me that he was doing this.
Response from Unlimited Electric
"The original call was for several wiring issues threw out home. The issues that were corrected, were to the complete satisfaction of the gentleman that was present that day. However their were other issues we could not fix do to time, customer needed to leave the home. We left the home with the understanding customer would call to schedule work when time permitted. We returned to the home corrected any issues customer had with original call and repaired several other issues at no charge."

This was an Angie's list deal for 2 hrs of electrical service.
My dissatisfaction is not with the quality of the work, rather the billing for "additional" time.  I was charged an additional hour,  ($119). but the fellow was only here an additional 1/2 hr.
When I called to schedule the service and describe what I needed,  I asked if I should get a new fixture as I was not sure if it needed a new ballast or a new fixture. I was told it was not necessary as he would likely have the parts with him.  It turned out the fixture needed to be replaced as he did not have a fixture with him. So i went out to buy a new fixture which took approx 40 mins of the service time.
The amount I stated for cost of service included the cost of an overhead fixture that I purchased. The cost of the service excluding this fixture was approx.  $250.

Challenging work, diagnosed & corrected several safety issues. We've used him several times & have additional work coming up. Only negative is he doesn't clean up or put things back that he moves. Leaves bits of wires, insulation, parts strewn about.

He changed an exterior light on the front porch which required some additional work. He had to reseat the junction box so the new light would hang properly. He was punctual and arrived as scheduled. He was courteous and went straight to work. My only disappointment was only having one light changed for the price.

The work was fine but the pricing was not so much. The deal called for 2 hours of work for $99. He came out and it took him 2 hours and 45 minutes to do the job and gave me a bill for $582 and took $200 off. When I asked him about it, he said that they don’t actually work by the hour, they work by the job. They didn’t tell me this ahead of time. They wanted me to pay cash because they don’t take credit cards. I just told them that I’ll write the check whether they like it or not and they agreed to take the check. When he wrote it off, I thought he had itemized it to take a look and see what it was exactly that he had spent and what the extra cost was but he had written off extensively that he had rewired and removed but basically for materials, he had used 2 gang boxes and about 8 feet of wire. There was no breakdown on it. I called him up to tell him that I thought it was broken down. I told him I was a little unhappy about that. He told me that the job was kind of more complicated that they would have actually charged more. There were no expensive parts. I’m pretty sure he’s a one man band. I didn’t feel that it was much of a bargain when he took $200 off. The work was fine. He was late both times but he called on both times. If in fact he is just relating what the office is telling him, which I don’t actually believe is the case. If he is just an employee that is implementing something that is being told to him, then the fact that their crappy policy doesn’t really should reflect on him. A lot of the prices, regardless of what’s involved, are pre-determined. Before you have them do anything, find out exactly what the prices are going to be or what’s going on with the prices.

Much of our electrical work had been done by a previous owner without experience.  Hazardous circuits, arcing, etc. resulted.  We needed two new panels and much rewiring.  Brian went about his work quietly, professionally, asking questions and offering solutions.
