Showed us photos of attic as work progressed so we could see what was done (installation of baffles for proper ventilation of attic, built up walls around back of ceiling lights to keep new insulation out of fixtures, depth of new insulation). We expect that HVAC costs will go down measurably, & that ceiling condensation during cold weather (bathrooms & adjacent bedroom) will go away. "Our residence has had water in the basement since we purchased it 30+ years ago. Last fall, we hired a landscape architect to assess the problem and make recommendations to fix it. This year we decided to bite the financial bullet and install a comprehensive drainage system. Unless we acted, the structure would soon be deteriorating past a point of no return. I got 2 quotes from other companies, and after getting over the sticker shock, decided to contact Woodford, who we had heard, though expensive, is the premier structural renovation company in our area. I was surprised when their quote was not that much higher than their competitors. I prefer not to disclose the exact cost. If anyone reading this needs to know this, they can contact me directly. The estimator, David, was competent and professional. Soon after his visit, I received a letter from the President and Vice President of Woodford Bros describing their goal : to have 100% satisfied customers and zero misunderstandings, and the means that will be taken to achieve that. Included with the letter was a list of 50-60 references (names and phone numbers) in my and adjacent zipcodes for whom they had done work, and an invitation to contact as many of these people as I wanted. My project was small enough that Woodford required no money down, they expected no payment whatsoever until the contract has been fulfilled to my satisfaction. The project took a month to complete. The Crew Chief, Bill, ably assisted by Matt and Don, did everything possible to prevent any misunderstandings and to have a 100% satisfied customer. This they more than achieved. Watching Don at the helm of the CAT in the tightest quarters imaginable was like watching a professional sports event and a modern dance all rolled into one. The swale he made is a graceful contour that suits the setting to perfection. Don is a true artist. So is Matt. After making 2 radii on the front sidewalk, Matt went on to make 3 more on the rear sidewalk. The sidewalk is not only functional, like the swale, it too is a thing of beauty. I am an extremely satisfied customer and recommend Woodford without reservation. They are a premier organization, the kind of company and people you wish everyone was."

They applied 2 coats of the specially formulated sealant and also painted the floor to keep moisture out. The they installed a commercial grade dehumidifier to maintain a proper level of humidity. Problem Solved and it looks brighter and so protected from any future moisture intrusion."
