couldn't even get them to come out for an estimate. cordial on the phone, said they would be here after 5pm the next day to take a look at the issue and give me an estimate - wasted an evening waiting, no call no show. i had to follow up the next morning to ask why they hadn't shown, they said they had "lost their phone" and "just gotten it back this morning". yea, sure buddy. went on to say they were an honest person and booked out until november anyway. seems real honest.

The pricing was very fair, and the work was completed. The Bad news is that the work was very Sloppy, with many mistakes, and I'm very disappointed.

After spending my entire spring and most of my summer contacting masons to repair a sidewalk with various frustrating results (none wanting to do small repairs to literally not showing as promised ) we found Angel! He and his partner Angel are appropriately named! He was not only willing to take on a small masonry project but he was clear about his time line, prompt, fair in his pricing, and an excellent communicator. Set aside two days for our project got it done in one! Hauled away the debris and left it looking like they had never been there except for the fact that we now had a perfect sidewalk once again. If you are calling masons do yourself a favor and make Angel your first call. I have a great feeling it will prove to be your only call! We couldn’t be happier with his expertise and professionalism.

One year later and the job still isn't finished. Angel stopped responding to us. Lied to us that someone came but our ring camera shows differently. Steps marked with x's are loose. Extremely disappointed and do NOT recommend.

Great service! Affordable and quality work. I was hesitant at first due to the lower quote I got. Other companies wanted around $900 more for the same work. They were very respectful and work was done on time. Gave an estimate right away.

We had a contract to do the patio and one small area of landscaping since late winter/early spring. He kept complaining about his partner bailing in him so I told him if it was easier for him he could hold off on the Landscaping part and just do the concrete patio. He said that sounded like a good idea but then he insisted I pay him the price for doing BOTH projects even though he wasn't going to be doing the one. I sent him the itemized breakdown of the price and told him I want going to pay him the extra for the landscaping if he want going to do it. That seemed logical and reasonable to me. He blew up and started venting about his prices had increased and he didn't have to keep to the contract. He said "everyone" was changing their contacts and he was changing ours to charge more after making me wait 5 months. To clarify it wasn't a quote but a contract that states at the bottom it is "legally binding". There is no cancelation clause in it either. After his outburst I told him keys just keep everything exactly how it was then. I'll pay you the total amount and you do both jobs that you scheduled for 7/7. He refused to do anything in the contract. He made it so I can't do the project this year because he wasted my time and now all other contractors are booked. He was incredibly unprofessional. He was unreasonable. He was emotionally unstable. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!

Would not hesitate to call Angel again. He really cares about staying in your budget and working with you to make sure you’re a satisfied customer. Highly recommended.

This project was a nightmare……. And worst of all the owner takes no responsibility for mistakes he has made. A $9500 concrete patio, 4 months later has cracked concrete halfway through the project already (and yep, it is jumping right through the cut lines, which he claimed wouldn’t happen!) He washed his hands of it and refused to help, since he has gotten paid! I brought in another concrete contractor who said that there needed to be a 4 inch crushed stone base layer, and rebar below our grill/island as well as more cut lines. During the process, I actually questioned him on these things and he talked like he knew what he was doing……. he claimed that the base of breaking up old concrete, was just as good as crushed stone - which very little crushed stone was actually used, compared to the size of the project. Broken up concrete - doesn’t allow proper drainage, like he claimed it did. I questioned doing rebar underneath the whole patio since we were putting in a gas firepit and grill / island - which was sitting in our yard and no secret. He claimed the wire mesh was strong enough to hold a car on the patio and it will last us another 40 years……… But turns out he blamed it all on us for having a gas line put in. (It didn’t even shoot in at the point of the crack, it shot in at the long end) I let go of the fact that the finish looked awful, and chalky - which the concrete is supposed to be a mocha brown, since they sealed it when it was still wet and snowed an hour later (this was the fault of the manufacturer) or the siding that had concrete all over it and the edging that wasn’t finished nicely against the house (this was the fault of an employee that called in on the day of the job) and took me weeks to scrub the concrete off the siding, not too mention the broken up concrete they didn’t remove that sat in our yard for 2 months……… In the end, we were left with a crack that continues to spread only 4 months later, and a chalky looking finish - that will take years to come off and an uneven edge against the house……….. And a contractor that refuses to do anything to make it right and blame us homeowners that trusted him to be the expert.

I had them replace our landscaping stones and mulch. They were also supposed to bury my downspouts. I paid then half at the end of day 1. When they finished I asked why they didn't bury the downspouts... They said they forgot and took off 100.00 to leave 2 as is and bury just one. I agreed. I told them when I would be home from work for them to do it and they took it upon themselves to do it when I was not there. I came home and found the downspout approx 8 inches away from the house at the bottom. Creating a safety hazard. I called. They quickly went from agreeable and helpful to rude and unprofessional. They stated they did the best they could without me there to 'guide them' I'm not sure how a landscaper makes money if they need someone standing over there shoulder telling them they are doing their job wrong. So they told me to keep the other half of the money and pay someone to come fix it. Which I did. And today when someone reputable came out... And dug up the work this guy did... He found that my downspout had an extension piece added on to make it long enough to go maybe 4 inches under the ground... And that was it. No pvc pipe. No drainage. Just my old downspout stuck in the ground... On a pitch that the water would not run out of it... W a cut off soda bottle stuck on the end of it. Buried downspouts are buried for a reason..to get water away from a house. Not to simply take them out of sight. This company was a nightmare from the minute they got paid half up front. So beware... They are incredibly helpful, kind and professional until they have money in their pocket. Do not use these guys.

The staff went over and beyond the job expectations and met an unexpected challenge early on in the job with flexibility and ease. My front steps look gorgeous and I could not be happier with the result!!!!!
