"Mike previously purchased supplies and did roofing work for us, and we were pleased. However, he noticed a faulty electrical socket connected to our heat tape and offered to replace it. He requested and was paid a substantial amount to purchase supplies for the socket and stated a return date to be three days later. He did not return, he did not answer any texts, phone calls and emails. Finally, he did respond and gave another return date which was about ten days later but still did not show up or answer texts, emails or phone calls. I am adding to this review: 3/14/2020: I have been reimbursed for the supplies not purchased and the work not done. I have added a separate review but it is still pending. The work Mike did for us was good. The first three times he responded quickly and arrived promptly as promised. Good communication is essential, and the lack of it is why I wrote the negative review. UPDATE 3/16/2020: Our roof was leaking badly. Mike responded to our call quickly, and came to help us on a weekend. He shoveled part of the roof and attended to the horrid ice dam. He returned two more times and shoveled and got rid of two more ice dams. He was a very hard worker and also seemed knowledgeable. I felt that he deserved a good review for the good work that he did on our roof. I also should note that the charge was very high, (hence the lower score for value for money) but we were glad to have someone show up to do the work. He returned the money today that we gave him to do the electrical work. (see other review by James B. - Breckenridge) I do not know why he suddenly stopped responding. I have to add because of that, I would be hesitant to consider him."

"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Initially, we found Matt's business listed on the Trex website as a certified TrexPro Gold installer. After then reading his positive reviews across AngliesList, Facebook, & Google, and seeing photos of many projects that appeared to be the type of work we were looking for, we reached out. Communication was excellent from the initial quote through completion of the project. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. The project was a notable investment in our home, but we are very pleased with the results would highly recommend Matt to others."

"We hired Joe and Steve in 2022 to convert an existing screen porch into a three season room. The project was “completed” in November of 2022. Right off the bat we realized that one of the sliding doors didn’t function correctly and needed to be replaced. Over the course of the next year, more issues began to show themselves. Cracked caulk around windows, windows that didn’t open/close/lock. Water collecting in the tracks of multiple windows and not draining. When AllPro was contacted about these problems (it took multiple calls/emails/texts to get in touch) they chalked the problems up to Covid supply chain issues and poor quality windows (even though we were assured they “middle tier windows”). This past fall during a heavy rain, water began to pour INSIDE from over one of the windows. We reached out to Steve who blamed the install originally. The contractor they hired to install the windows came out to check behind the siding. Everything was installed correctly. The issues were with the Bargain Outlet (literally) brand windows they installed. After much back and forth with Steve, he finally agreed to replace all windows with a better quality product. It has now been two and a half months since we agreed to that and after MANY calls/texts/voicemails I haven’t heard back. Completely ghosted me. At this point we will be forced to take AllPro to small claims court to try and recoup some of what we spent so we can get all the windows replaced. Do not hire this company. They are incredibly unprofessional. “AllPro” is quite the stretch for a business name."

"A three or four day job took close to two months to complete. Excuse after excuse for not coming to work. He ran out of money several times and I had to advance him more money so that he could continue the project. He always arrived with materials piecemeal which also cut down on how much time he could spend working that day. Work was sloppy and he cut corners. Screws were sticking out of the wood in many places. Many blocks of wood were left strewn under the deck along with empty gatorade bottles. I had to pay him extra for stone steps when wood steps and railing were originally in the contract but he felt they would take up too much space. In building the steps he removed concrete blocks from our retaining wall under the deck to use for the stone steps. After a heavy rain it caused a foot high of mud to run up the side of the pool. He used dirt instead of sand to anchor the steps. They are now all wobbly and dangerous. He also used a rotted piece of wood from the garden as part of the foundation for the steps. He went to to the back of our property and dug dirt for the steps and broke the PVC drainage pipe in the process. William Palmer made many promises that he did not keep. I have to hire another contractor to redo the steps. His work is substandard and not professional."
