"We had a vision for what our backyard would be with a pool and Vance and Nick exceeded our dreams and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!!!! You can build a plunge pool in an 8-by-8-foot space. Many plunge pools are about 8 to 12 feet wide, 2 to 24 feet long, and 4 to 8 feet deep. While these pools are smaller than your average swimming pool, you may want additional space for a deck or patio to surround the plunge pool.

If you put too much chlorine in your pool, it can make the pH level more acidic, creating a health risk. You might experience symptoms like nausea, dizziness, vomiting, skin rashes, and irritation in the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. To lower the chlorine level, you can turn off your chlorinator or chlorine feeder, add more water to dilute the pool, or remove the cover to let sunlight naturally reduce the chlorine.

If you frequently use your swimming pool, an annual inspection is ideal. For pools over 20 years old, get an inspection twice a year. If you have a new pool, are selling your house, or your property went through a severe weather event, schedule a pool inspection as soon as possible.

Pool pumps should work discreetly and quietly. If you hear loud screeching or grinding sounds from your pool pump, it’s a good indication that its motor is starting to fail and may need replacing.

Infinity pools do require slightly more maintenance than other pools because you’ll need to constantly monitor the water level. If the water level is out of whack, it won’t correctly flow over the edge, which gives the pool its infinity look.
