"Tony and Jay were great. We had water backing up into our home the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Despite it being a weekend, they answered the phone on the first ring, and they were at our home within two hours. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had the main line cleaned out. They also replaced a flange on a toilet in the basement and got that re-sealed. They kept us in the loop as they were working, and they made sure everything was cleaned up when they left. Your water heater, gas stove and oven, and gas dryer will all use some gas, although typically much less than a furnace. If your plumber needs to hire additional contractors to dig trenches and navigate around or remove obstacles, this could put you at the longer end of the timeframe. 

Once the land is prepped and licenses acquired, installing the actual line may only take a few days to a few weeks, weather permitting.
