Tony and Jay were great. We had water backing up into our home the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Despite it being a weekend, they answered the phone on the first ring, and they were at our home within two hours. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had the main line cleaned out. They also replaced a flange on a toilet in the basement and got that re-sealed. They kept us in the loop as they were working, and they made sure everything was cleaned up when they left. This was our first time using Bair Mechanical, and we selected them based on their positive Angie's List reviews, so we are happy to add to their list of great reviews.

Tony is the best plumber! He is knowledgeable, neat, dependable, fast and provides excellent customer service. I would highly recommend his business.

He added a pipe that brings fresh air directly to the furnace as per manufacturer recommendations. Service was efficient, everything seems well done, cleanup was good, and Tony is well informed in areas of heating. Price was reasonable and attention to detail was impressive.

We asked the Bair team out to our newly purchased home to review some items that we had found out needed repair or replace during our home inspection.  Tony called out the same items that our inspector had mentioned and offered us several options to help meet our needs and our budget.  He is very knowledgeable about the items he services.  We had asked for a larger hot water heater because we were concerned that with a family of 4 that replacing with the same size wouldn't be sufficient but he talked us out of it explaining there was no need for us to spend the extra money and provided right there on the spot gallons per minute used by a bath, shower, dishwasher, laundry, etc.  Most contractors wouldn't have tried to talk us out of it knowing it wasn't best for us because it would have been a bigger sale/job for them.  Tony is very reasonable and I trust that whatever he suggests is what is best for our situation.  He even provided me in my quote information on all the rebates that National Grid was offering and how that would help me offset all my costs even more! 

Tony and his team are all very professional and courteous.  They put on booties to cover their shoes as they walked through the home, laid down cardboard from basement to front door to protect the floors from any debris as they carried out the old furnace and hot water tank.  They were very quiet and courteous during the work.  I work from home and when they heard me on a call, they would stop any noise without me even asking!

During the installation, Tony and his assistant turned the entire furnace 180' and moved the water tank to the other side as to make better use of the space in the basement and free up a large section for more storage.  He also replaced our undersized cold air return  and filter slot.  He installed a cover on the filter slot and sealed all supply and return ducts in the basement.  Due to the new power venting, Tony had to run new electrical since we didn't have any outlets available to power it. 

Everything is working great and meets the needs or our family as Tony recommended.  This is the second house that we've had Bair Mechanical in and we will continue to use them for all of our Heating/AC and plumbing needs!

Very professional, also offered advice on a few other plumbing related things that were very helpful.  I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else.  Just understand that quality work does cost money, and this company did sincerely work with me on that..  That is in no way a slap or anything, its just the cost of doing business when you need a professional **right now**.

We wanted to get a tankless hot water heater and had two quotes.  Tony was our second quote.  The first guy seemed ok but Tony was cheaper by quite a bit and also suggested a better place to install the heater which made more sense.  He explained to us how it should be so many feet from a window due to the venting system.  The install went well and the price was reasonable (tankless hot water heaters are expensive in general).  My only complaint is that Tony was late to both the estimate and install.  I think his jobs before us those days ran long.  To his defense, we didn't have a set in stone time especially with the estimate, but he wasn't as punctual as I would have preferred.  His work was good though and I would definitely hire him again.  He does work on furnaces as well so I will probably call him for that when the time comes to replace that.

This company was very responsive and professional. They answered their phone and returned messages, which is hard to find. They scheduled an appointment in a very reasonable timeframe. 
They used good quality materials and explained what they were doing at each step. They took necessary safety precautions also. 
This company doesn't cut corners and I'll be using them for HVAC, plumbing and other things that I need.
