He came in at 9 AM, changed the burners, checked the circuit board, cleaned the furnace and it still wasn't working, which he thought was odd. So he took the time to check the National Grid meter and it turns out they gave us a faulty meter because it froze, which was causing the problem. So he actually called National Grid for us and told them it was an emergency and made them come out. Not only did he do that, but he stayed until 8:45 at night to make sure they came out and only charged us for 4 hours. He said he really wanted to make sure we had heat for our family and even cancelled another appointment just to make sure we were taken care of.

He performed a more thorough check and cleaning than anyone who's been here before. Furnace required new safety control, which he installed. Also replaced malfunctioning thermostat at my request. Checked gas lines in basement and discovered two small leaks, which he repaired by installing some new fittings. Overall very knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant.
