Sol Foam Insulation, LLC is a member of Sol Enterprises. Since 2003 we have been family owned and operated. Our Foam Insulation division is a highly experienced team equipped with state of the art chemicals and tools to get the job done correctly. We apply Closed Cell Spray Foam into open-wall cavities, crawl spaces, perimeter joists (any exposed rim or band joist), and cathedral/sloped ceilings at an industry leading heat resistance rating of R-7 per inch of thickness. While the product must be installed to local code, the amount of application varies. Our Closed Cell Foam, when applied correctly, creates a vapor barrier, prevents air infiltration and exfiltration, and fully cures to the touch within 15 seconds. Our closed cell foam also adds 75-200% racking strength to your walls!

"Extremely happy! Would absolutely recommend this company and product to my family and friends."

Spray Foam insulation is the future of insulation. Advantages exist for financial savings, health, building efficiency and greener environment. Discover below how you can benefit from Twin spray foam insulation. Indoor temperatures stay constant, allowing decreased use of heat or air conditioning. This translates to savings on utility bills and extends the life of your heating and cooling equipment by four times. While the initial costs of installation may exceed that of fiberglass insulation, in the long term spray foam is significantly more cost effective. Our business gives free quotes to start making your home or business energy efficient. Spray foam takes building envelope performance to the extreme three ways: First, its high R-Value per inch provides outstanding thermal performance, so it minimizes hot and cold spots that can affect the efficiency and comfort of a building. Second, its rigidity provides added structural integrity to your walls. Third, it acts as a secondary moisture vapor barrier to help reduce the risk of moisture intrusion in the wall cavity. Twin spray insulation will provide you with the best. We are a family owned business with ten plus years of experience.

Insulation questions, answered by experts

You can insulate an existing garage door. But while it’s a cost-effective option upfront, it may not perform as well as a garage door that comes with insulation. If you live in a colder climate—or if you plan on working in your garage and need a new door—you should purchase one with existing insulation for better efficiency.

A garage ceiling needs a vapor barrier if it’s a heated garage or if you’re installing insulation in the ceiling. Without a vapor barrier, you risk moisture issues and mold growth. If you have an unheated garage and don’t plan on installing insulation that could get wet and harbor mold, the ceiling doesn't need a vapor barrier.

There are many ways to keep your house cool without central air. In fact, ductless mini-split AC systems are a solid alternative to central AC for situations when you can’t install ducts in your home. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly cooling solution, consider using window AC units or portable air conditioners.

Homeowners insurance covers some damage caused by ice dams, but it depends on the type of damage. Insurance policies will often cover things like interior water damage, roof collapse, and actual shingle damage resulting from ice formation, but it depends on your policy. Check your coverage information or contact your insurer to find out what your plan covers. Keep in mind that any damage caused by implementing a DIY solution to remove ice dams likely won’t be covered.

Roof vents help cool a house because as they allow hot air to escape, the temperature regulates inside the attic. If vents are defective or there are not as many as there should be, the attic becomes hot and stuffy. Without roof vents, air conditioning has to work harder to maintain a consistent temperature in the attic.
