"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"They gave us the best rate and the setup was great for ADT system. The installer did have to tell us about other options that would cost more money but he did not pressure us when we declined. We had door, window and motion detectors included. They gave us a week to practice on the new system, but we could call if we were ready to go live sooner which we did. Set up was quick, easy and uneventful. Very nice installer, Phillip Brown. The cost was quoted at a low price, but the bill came from ADT and was much higher. We were told the contract to ADT did not catch up and we will be getting the lower price with a reimbursement for the excess of the first bill. We did the $99 install and are getting a $100 gift card back. 3 year contract is a little annoying but we plan to stay here for a long time."

"We installed it ourselves. For all the equipment and everything it was $103. The price was very good because my monthly payment was only $49 a month. I like them better and I have heard too many horror stories for another company. Responsiveness, I would have to give them a 100%. I have set the alarm off by opening the door without turning it off and they were right on top of it to call and make sure we were okay. I love it. I feel safe. The quality is good. We own our equipment so when we move it will go with us. We have 9 sensors that came with that plus the other one that will go off when you move around, the motion sensor. I have had no bad problems at all. They are alert and call right away to make sure we are okay. I have the key fob and also it is battery operated if the power goes out. It is wireless and I can program it from my phone."

"We had lost our power during the early hours of the horrendous December 2008 ice storm that paralyzed portions of the Hudson Valley. After an uncomfortable evening of 40 degree temperatures in our home along with none of the comforts of modern life my wife and 2 young girls were miserable. I placed a call to the owner, Mr. Daley, to ask him for some advice on purchasing a portable generator. After warning me that a generator might be a tough find in the midst of the widespread power shortage he agreed to counsel me as I went from store to store with my family to find one. Mr. Daley was incredible-I would call him from the aisle of the local hardware stores to inform him of what was available and to get his advice. He even made calls for me to see what stores had the equipment that we needed! After we found the appropriate hardware at 8:30 Friday evening he told me to meet him at my home so that he could commence installing the switches. When I said that perhaps we should wait until the morning because I felt guilty having him work late on a Friday night he responded by saying that the comfort and security of my family was most important to him. And so he showed up at my home and commenced the installation around 11 pm. He even had to leave around 1 am to pick up some more supplies from his shop and returned at 2 am. By 3 am the system was installed and we again had heat, water, refrigeration and lights. Mr. Daley was a lifesaver. In the midst of the cold evening he not only did great work but he demonstrated a level of compassion and dedication rarely seen anymore. We have had him do other electrical work around our home and he is so trustworthy that if we need to leave we just ask him to lock the house up after he finishes. He is so good that a local inspector, after examining his work in our home during an inspection, told us to hang onto him! We trust and respect Mr. Daley and his work so much that we just had him complete all of the electrical wiring in a business that my wife and I are building. In addition he has done extensive work for family and friends and all agree that he is incredible. He is the only electrician that we will ever use. Period."
