"The gentleman who come wasn't overly professional and was only interested in doing the bare minimum. we had him replace a step, mud and sand a wall in the bathroom and put a strip of shoe molding back in front of the tub. He put the molding on upside down so it didn't cover the tile seam. When he did the step, he had to cut and pull the carpet back and did a poor job putting it back. I had to finish the mud work on the bathroom wall around a corner before painting because he over-sanded a few spots. And he asked that I write the check directly to him, the owner, rather than the company to save me from paying taxes. Which in turn meant he wouldn't have to claim it as business income. Definitely won't do business with him again."
