"I recently hired Sal at Hilite to ground a large number of the outlets in my home, add new outlets and new light fixtures, and I am thoroughly impressed with the outstanding service provided and overall expertise of Sal and his team. "RUN FAR AWAY FROM ALLIED AND TOM. Tom took my money and did not complete the renovations as per our contract. He lied about having a licensed electrician to do electrical work, it was just one of his workers who's not licensed. I paid for a dumpster and when it was delivered by tom it was already half full from another allied job and I was asked to pay the full amount of $950. Tom didn't listen to anything I said regarding the work I requested and he changed my design and did work that was cheaper for him. I was priced for one of my ceiling's to be ripped out and reinstalled with new sheetrock, Tom waited until I was away on business then he installed sheetrock on top of the bad sheetrock and told me he ripped out the old sheetrock and installed the new sheetrock, I found out when my EC cut holes to install lights and we found 2 layers of sheetrock preventing the lights from being able to be installed. Allied construction is a cheap, sneaky company who will steal your money and breach your contract. Do not hire these people Tom is a lair. Tom wore a gun in my house on his hip and told me "I use this to get paid by customer who don't want to pay". Tom left live 120v wires hanging out of the walls and ceiling, he removed a banister and didn't replace it for 3 weeks making my home very unsafe for me and my 9 year old son."

"Tanem has a long history of good work. Gene did several projects for me years ago and I was glad to find Paul picked up the same qualities Gene had established. Both are easy to work with, knowledgeable, make lots of helpful suggestions so the project comes out even better than I had thought it would. You tell Paul what you want done, and he, and Gene in an advisory role, find a way to make it even better. They are flexible and just know how to find solutions. Their crews know what they’re doing. Paul keeps checking and keeps you informed as work progresses. I couldn’t be happier to see Paul continuing the Tanem tradition."

"I had to call 5 different electrical contractors to do work in my co-op. I found some off of Angie's list and home advisor. I had contractors who never showed up, people who never got back to me after showing up. Some quotes were lower, and one quote was higher. At the end of the day Beshaun was on time, prepared, professional and provided a detailed estimate. He showed up fully prepared to do the work. His workers were professional. They got the job done in time as promised and cleaned up after themselves. I felt comfortable enough to leave them in my home while I was at work. I had him install 4 sets of track lights, and over head lights in 2 closets and one room that had none, along with a ceiling fan. All new wiring had to be run for everything."

"From 1st phone call, Russo was knowledgeable about the potential cause of problems and assured repair would be minimal, gave reasonable estimate. When technician arrived for repair, very professional and cost was fair for repair work. Would consider him again for future electrical problems."

"Initially, he responded within the hour when I posted my request then he came to the house. From there on, in terms of your appointments, there was a back and forth. I was very determined to encourage him. But he had me waited for an hour and it was disrespectful for me. I thanked him when the appointment is kept being cancelled to contact the electric company. He wanted me to do it, he finally did it and then they rescheduled. But now, from this point on where is additional work, that their company wishes the company is requiring. I cannot get the information, the specific information as to what is needed.. And this is now going on over two weeks, everything is a standstill. He is not responding and writing in a text. My interest is just to get the job completed."
