"I would recommend this business to everyone. We live in a very small house with a furnace located in a very small dirt crawl space. We ran into a problem before Christmas and the furnace wasnâ t working. We called a company that was referred to us by our plumber and all the man did was complain about the situation which I can understand but you shouldnâ t be swearing and complaining in front of the homeowners. Anyways it did start working for a short time and he said it would probably be more than $10,000 to get a new furnace and if we called his company tell them not to send him back here. So the day after new yearâ s I woke up to the house temperature of 64. I called the same company and they sent the same person and all he did was swear and yell and he changed 2 filters in the heat runs and charged us another $200 and said we should get a heat pump which would cost about $15,000. The temp never went up so I went on Home Adviser and the first company that called was New Horizons and the person I spoke to was Matt. He was so nice on the phone and said he didnâ t have a problem working in the crawl space and said heâ d be out that day to look at it. When Matt saw the furnace he couldnâ t believe it. He said he couldnâ t believe that the furnace ever worked. He said heâ d never seen anything like it and that it was filled with water, had a cracked heat exchanger and was never installed properly to begin with and it was all rusted. He said the first HVAC person that came here twice mustâ ve never even looked at the furnace because if he had he wouldâ ve had to red tag it because it was unsafe and we couldâ ve easily died. Anyways he put in a brand new high efficiency furnace and did everything he possibly could to keep the cost down for us because he knew we wouldâ ve had a very hard time getting anyone else to do the job. He spent 3 hours here the first day he looked at it and waived his fee for that day. I canâ t even describe how grateful and happy we are with the job he did for us. The furnace is working great and we feel so much safer in our house now. I know that we couldnâ t have possibly gotten any better service from any other company especially under the circumstances of trying to do all this work in small dirt crawl space and still give us the best service and looking out for us by giving us a great price. I would recommend this company and especially Matt to everyone."

"These installers were efficient, affable, familiar with the work, got it all done in one day. There's one small detail which I need to have them change, a detail I should have dealt with that day. "I found John's name and contact information on the Irondequoit group on Facebook after several people had recommended him for HVAC services. After my furnace ignitor began to malfunction, I called him up and he was able to come over to look at the problem on the same day, and summarized my options to remedy the problem including parts, materials, labor costs, etc. As my boiler system is over 30 years old at this point, I opted to go with a brand new one. Knowing that my boiler may be nearing the end of its lifespan (and in the middle of winter) John scheduled himself for the work within a week's time. He was in my home all day and installed my new boiler along with the accompanying new piping, parts and fittings, including expansion tank, shut off valves, flu vents, etc. He was very professional, thorough, courteous, and cleaned up my basement and left it the way I found it. I would highly, highly recommend him to others."

"When my computer refused to boot up, I took it to Jim and he diagnosed a virus infection as the problem. He got the machine working again by installing a new hard drive and adding more memory for increased performance. Just a couple of weeks later, the computer again was having problems. This time, Jim dianosed the culprit as being the machine's original memory. While I decided not to remove and not replace the faulty memory for the time being due to cost, Jim upgraded my operating system to enhance the overall system performance. Jim was very professional and timely and was very sensitive to my concerns. Communication is excellent."
