We changed some pipes and fittings when it was cheap and practical but also reused hardware that was still in good shape. Even with a bigger tank footprint he was able to install it to take up less space and make all the controls easier to reach or use. He was clear in explaining what he was doing and why and he made sure we understood how everything with the new hot water heater worked including regular maintenance. Throughout, he treated my wife with the same respect he treated me. He followed up later in the day to make sure we were happy and everything was working well. "The service included gas fired hot water tank replacement & air conditioning replacement. Mr. Kane was on time professional, accessible to all questions I had & courteous. Mr. Kane was a high energy individual with practical knowledge of his field as he described his work history in an unscripted manner. His was one of the lower bids but he offered the proper ton rating for our homes sq ft. over another co. His choice of Ameristar furnace &A/C was a solid choice as I reviewed all available heat & cooling products. Note most components come from China & are assembled in the U.S. He had a busy schedule but finished the early April furnace & hot water tank in a day . The need for the A/C I said was not priority & he explained he had a busy scheduled but returned on the day to finish the cooling system again on time. "First class operation all the way. Miles and Caleb were polite, personable and prompt. They had a very hard time disassembling the old boiler but were persistent and ultimately successful. They then made sure the new boiler was installed and working, even though that made for a very long day on their part. We are completely satisfied with the new boiler and their performance getting rid of the old one and installing the new one. We now have heat which is very welcome!"

"I found John's name and contact information on the Irondequoit group on Facebook after several people had recommended him for HVAC services. After my furnace ignitor began to malfunction, I called him up and he was able to come over to look at the problem on the same day, and summarized my options to remedy the problem including parts, materials, labor costs, etc. As my boiler system is over 30 years old at this point, I opted to go with a brand new one. Knowing that my boiler may be nearing the end of its lifespan (and in the middle of winter) John scheduled himself for the work within a week's time.
