The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"We started meeting with Chris in winter to plan our project. We met several times to exchange ideas and he was very careful to listen to our needs and to suggest the best ways to achieve them. Once the building began he and his assistant worked efficiently and communicated their plans and progress daily. The work site was left well organized and clean each day and after the project was done. The project itself was to build a Trex deck with solar lighting and to restore power to our barn (the line had been cut when our new well was installed).
