Empire has a large inventory as well as ready to start workers. My job progressed from start to finish in less than 2 weeks. Now I'll check for durability, although the lifetime warranty made the selection n easier.

The gentleman that came to put the flooring down did a perfect job . My paper work didn’t have my boarders noted for my basement floor. They then reached out to his boss and it was done boarders were put in they were very clean vacuumed after they were done. I would recommend them any time to my friends and neighbors

The sales rep and install team did great work in a timely and professional way.

Every step has been a hassle, and we have been without a working bathroom for two weeks now because we had to remove the sink to do the floor. Sales people do not communicate with installers. It has been incredibly time consuming. And we have paid for things that have not been done.

Great install. Had a bad basement floor. They were able to work around it.

All aspects of the job from the salesman to the contact center to the installation were well done.

The installers were highly competent and professional, but for whatever reason they came up short on the oak flooring, and the warehouse had none of baseboard trim in stock the morning they came to our house so they had to come back a week or so later to complete the project.

The installers arrived when Empire Today said they would do that, finished the work much sooner than I thought they would, and deserve to feel proud of what they've done in my room. The only problem, a minor one, was that an installer's Hispanic accent made his English hard to understand. I thank the company for the discount, too, and for the delightful saleswoman Ms. Jolene Damien.

They are real professionals.

When someone comes to your home they had better speak English. I had a difficult time relaying important information.

Was just an awful. The flooring is already buckling.

It took a total of FIVE trips for Empire to install two separate stair runners. They cancelled or didn't show up for two appointments. One day they showed up to just measure the width of the stairs. When they finally showed up to perform the installation, they charged our credit card for the entire installation. Then when they brought in the carpeting, they only had the carpet for one of the stairways. They couldn't come back for a few days with the other carpet. (They come from Connecticut. There is no local Empire establishment.) Customer Service would not give us a credit on the credit card charge for the carpet that wasn't received. We had to call the credit card company and dispute the charge. When they FINALLY showed up to install the runner on the second set of stairs, it was cut to the wrong width. After being assured by Customer Service that we would receive "ample compensation" for the mistake, we allowed them to install the incorrectly cut carpet. After having set aside five days of our lives for two simple stairway installations, we just wanted it over with and proceeded with the installation. Several hours later, CS called and told us they would compensate us with $100. We would not recommend this company at all. First of all, the only thing "local" is the sales staff, which were very nice. They even gave us their email and cell phone numbers. That was very nice, but after leaving them messages when we began having issues, no one ever called us back. I suppose if you have a cut and dry room installation, they might do a good job. However, if there is an issue, you will have a hard time dealing with it. There is a high communication problem with the fact that every installer that showed up was either Mexican/Hispanic and only one person in each team could speak some English. This caused undue delays as they would hand us their phones to speak with people back in the Connecticut office. Bottom line: Buy Local. We thought we were buying local. There is nothing local about the Empire Today company, except sales people.
