2nd time hiring Carmen to do work. First time he installed some windows and fixed some gutters for me. This time he removed a weird section of wall and fixed it. He was timely, professional and a nice guy. It's only him working all of these jobs, please be patient if he doesn't get back to you. He eventually will and he is worth the wait.

It went excellent! Carmen did amazing and dynamic work. He was very friendly and helpful and was incredibly fluent and detailed! He did exceptionally smooth and skillful work in a very short amount of time. This was definitely money well spent and I would definitely hire him again and recommend to others!

I hired Carmen again for the 2 rooms that i wanted painted and a kitchen ceiling repair. As before I was not dissappointed, the exact opposite. Carmen is so nice and a very hard worker, what he did on my old plaster ceilings is beyond words. I wish i had before and after pictures. I think the best compliment about his craftsmanship came from my sister and niece. They came over to see the kitchen and could not believe the ceiling. The truly believed Carmen had sheetrocked the ceiling, that how perfect and smooth it was. I said no, all by hand and poor Carmen found far more cracks then he thought, but my final bill showed very little difference even with all the extra work he did, including me adding on little things. Always showed up, would text me if running late, he is a gem that is hard to find these days. Will have him back for bathroom update later. Thank you Carmen

Carmen is a great find in the many workers out there, he did wonderful work, i kept adding things to his list and he fit me in . Carmen is an exteremly hard worker, sometimes working quite late. Very professional, clean, and i love how my rooms look. Looking forward to september for more work to be done. I highly recommend carmen, you wont find any better. He is very honest and the cost for all he did was fantastic. He had to deal with the nuances of an old house but always figured out the best option.

Carmen with Bob's help performed excellent basement finishing work. Carmen pays attention to details, ready to answer questions and overall pleasant to interact with. Due to an extensive scope of the project it took longer than we originally anticipated. It included drywall, painting, ceiling, floor, lights and plumbing / electrical for washer and dryer. We are very happy with the result.

Carmen responded to my initial call quickly, gave me a reasonable estimate, and was able to fit this project into his busy schedule within the timeframe we needed it done. He showed up on the designated morning right on time, and did a fantastic job on it. He has a great attention to detail and made sure it was sturdy and that it looked good, too. He answered all of my questions before, during, and after the installation, and I am sure I'll call him up again for assistance with home improvement projects. He's the sort of handyman and general craftsman you hope to work with any time you reach out to someone new for a project.

We were so impressed with the work that Carmen did for us. His pride in his work showed through in each one of our rooms. He was punctual each day and let us know when he would be late or needed to reschedule. Even though our project ran a few weeks later than we expected, he kept us informed along the way. We had no issues with leaving Carmen for the day while we were at work. Would highly recommend for any project and we're looking forward to have him complete other projects for us in the future. This was a major project and he pointed out a variety of things he encountered as our house is a 1959 mystery and things were destined to surprise all of us.

I called C&L for a broken window replacement. Carmen came and measured the window and gave me an estimate. He then came equipped with the replacement window and installed with no issues. He was punctual and professional. I appreciate him taking on this small job. Especially since the trim around the window needed to be all taken apart in order to access the window. I live in Albany, my house is very old, and nothing is easy. I will be calling C&L again.

Carmen did a great job. I appreciate that he did additional work that needed attention and extras and kept it in budget. That part of my house is now prob the most solid of all. They worked right thru and did more than expected. They cleaned up all debris and made sure I was happy with the work. Will hire him again… he is honest, reliable, and professional.

The weather was not cooperative, but Carm persisted until the job was done! It looks great and the new stairs he installed are terrific. The color is great, and I believe he helped us to save the deck from having to be replaced for a number of years. He was quite meticulous in doing the work. He kept in touch with us throughout the process, noting that he had to work around the weather. I appreciated that.

Carmen was great! I needed the doors hung right away and he rearranged his schedule to hep me. I thought that it would be a somewhat easy job, but I was wrong! Carmen ran into issues and too everything in stride. When the walls needed additional support, he went out and obtained matching wood for support. Then, when the bypass door would not work, he went out again and got a matching door for me. He never complained and was very professional. The mess was completely cleaned up for me too! Prior to Carmen working here, I was used to cleaning up the mess left behind. I cannot say enough good things about him! I will definitely use him again!
