"I had a shower that was leaking so I called Randy, he was able to come out and give me a quote to remove my shower tile floor, he ended up redoing a new shower pan for me and install all new pebble floors with grout, he sealed everything and made it look brand new with no leak! I great guy and honest business owner, I would trust him with his skills and I would hire him again!"

"We called based on prior feedback on Angie's List.  Very personable owner took care of job and done per schedule and high quality.  Only on issue, my exact room measurements vs. his "ballpark" estimate were way off.  He measured exactly and came in very close to my estimate and did the work for that square footage.  Measure your own rooms to insure the right price/sq. ft.

"Very professional and quick to respond and get job scheduled. Cynthee was absolutely amazing and did a fantastic job installing our accent tile wall in our bathroom. She listened to all of my requests and did an amazing herringbone design. She was also so kind and willing to educate me on the process and never seemed rushed. My husband and I are so happy and I would 100% recommend this company, especially Cynthee, for any tile work!"

"Valdamer and Jesus were in charge of two others as a new bathroom floor was installed. Everyone was capable, polite, respectful of our home. They left the areas cleaned after each dayâ  s work. They even repaired a few wall tiles that had been chipped. Would recommended them highly to others."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Solvents dissolve tile adhesive, but the right solvent for the job depends on what type of adhesive you are trying to remove. For instance, dispersion adhesive requires stronger removers, like bile soap or even paint stripper, but some adhesives, like cement-based products, can come off with water and soap or mortar remover.

Grout lines should typically be between 1/8 to 3/16 inch thick. This ensures enough room for the grout to dry properly and makes them wide enough to look clean and professional. If grout lines are too small, it can be easier to see imperfections in the spacing.

Like glass tiles, you will not need to seal most porcelain tiles, particularly if the porcelain is already glazed. It depends on quality. Porcelain is very water resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof. To avoid staining, some homeowners use a penetrating sealer. It is also a good idea to seal your grout. Unless you use epoxy grout, grout is very porous and can harbor bacteria, mold, and mildew.

Yes, unfortunately, it is normal for wall and floor tiles to crack, especially when you drop heavy items on tiled floors or place heavy objects on them. Tiles are also more susceptible to cracking when ceramic tiles designed for walls are installed on floors, as these are often not strong enough to handle heavy loads from foot traffic and furniture. Similarly, tiles that are installed incorrectly, lack adequate subflooring, or have other installation problems are prone to cracking. To avoid these problems and the inevitable repair and replacement costs they bring, always hire a professional for tile work and follow best practices for installation.

How long painted tiles last ultimately comes down to the quality of the paint job and how much wear and tear the tiles get. It’s possible the paint job will only last about six months if the tiles are in a high-traffic area and they weren’t properly cleaned, sanded, and primed prior to painting and sealing. Well-painted tiles in a low-traffic area should last at least a year.
