We are a small family based business with about three employees. All of us have been in the home remodeling, home repair business for at least five years each. Between all of us there is nothing we can't do, we all have our special skills and mindset to get any job done no matter how big or small we don't turn down anything unless it is something that we really can not do. Our billing procedures depend on the job we are doing you will be notified on the payment procedure before work is to start. Also we are a strict DRUG-FREE business and have zero tolerance toward drug use and drinking on the job.

Bathtub refinishing refers to the entire process of resurfacing a bathtub. Reglazing is one step in the bathtub refinishing process. A peeling bathtub is not a good thing. Rust in your bathtub occurs when iron in the water or on metal components in your tub are exposed to oxygen, but while it’s unsightly, it won’t make bathing dangerous. However, if the rust appears under or around your tub spout or shower head, it could indicate that you have high levels of iron in your water. Drinking water with small amounts of iron in it usually doesn’t pose a health risk, but you might want to consider installing a water softener. The presence of iron could indicate that you have hard water, which can create some plumbing issues.

You can use other ways to seal the space where your tub and the bathroom tile meet. Using sealant tape, epoxy sealer, and spray foam can be just as effective as caulking your bathtub. When using alternatives to caulk, the one that is best for you depends on your preferences. 

Sealant tape takes less time and effort to use, which is why some homeowners prefer it. Meanwhile, epoxy sealer creates a smooth and glossy finish that can complement your bathroom. Lastly, spray foam is waterproof and can act as insulation for your tub.

There are a few ways to check whether your tub is fiberglass or acrylic. If your tub is a color other than white, then your tub is likely acrylic (as fiberglass tubs are usually white). Check to see if there is discoloration on the bottom of the tub, because if it’s yellowed, then you can be fairly sure it’s fiberglass.

Also, fiberglass tubs have thinner edges and are cool to the touch. Acrylic, on the other hand, is either room temperature or warm to the touch.
