Like most people, we went into the task of finding a roofing company with some anxiety because of the expense. Every step of the way Sparks Roofing did an excellent job of setting our mind at ease. We were looking for a company with experienced professionals who could do the job at a reasonable price. And we found it with Sparks Roofing. First we dealt with Francisco, who gave us a free estimate. He has 20-plus years in the roofing business and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. Then a date was set for the project and it only took the crew two days to remove the old roofing material and install the new. The crew members were polite and kept our property clean of debris as advertised. Both days Stan the owner of Sparks Roofing paid visits to oversee the work and ensure everything was done right. Stan also has 20-plus years in the roofing business and is a real pro. The company gave us a choice of roof colors and we think the new roof has made our house look 20 years younger. Of course, the proof of the pudding will be how long the roof lasts. But Sparks Roofing struck us as the most honest and professional company of the four we secured bids from.

Great. They priced the job quickly, matched the shingles perfectly, and were very punctual and professional. They cleaned up after the work so you couldn't tell they were here. Very nice job. Seemed a little pricey but at least they got the job done in short order.

They were the best crew that I have ever seen. They removed my old roof and worked like ants to install the new roof. It looks amazing and they cleaned the entire area before they left. Sparks Roofing replaced my roof in only 2 days.

We met with Stan to have an estimate done for a roof replacement. He arrived on time, had references, and answered a lot of questions from both of us. Stan provided a list of addresses we could check out to see the roofs that his company hasdinstalled. It was very nice to see the finished products so we should choose the color of shingles we would like.
Sparks Roofing started the job a week after our estimate. The crew was very polite and professional. They cleaned up the job site before they left for the day and also made sure all parts of the roof were protected from the weather. I am very impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof.
Our roof line had many valleys and was somewhat more complicated than the usual roof. We had one area that we had problems with leakage. The crew installed a cricket drain and I'm happy to report with the recent rainfall that it's water tight! You can't go wrong with Sparks Roofing! They were truly wonderful people to do business with. They explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. They spoke to me in person and left samples. They were also very responsive, prompt, and always replied in a very timely manner.

Roofing repair

The crew arrived on time and were polite when I interacted with them. The job was finished within the stated time and I've had no problems with the quality of their work even with a number of windstorms in our area since the new roof was installed. I would definitely use them again.

Owner, Stan Schwartz provided me with a written estimate after I had outlined in detail the work I wished his company, Sparks Roofing to bid on. He was always professional and courteous. He followed up after several days to see if I had made a decision and to answer any questions I might have since our last meeting.
Stan arrived on time the day of the job start with his roofing crew (job foreman,-Jose, crew- Juan and Luis). The tear-off and re-roof lasted four days. The crew worked tirelessly for the four days taking only short lunch and water breaks. Each evening they cleaned up all trash, secured ladders and any tools to be left overnight.
They installed two sky-lights and a solar roof vent I had previously purchased. They built a and quot;cricketand quot; to reroute water from a chimney I had concerns about, added four extra vents Stan thought might help dissipate attic heat build-up during hot summer days ant extra moisture during winter months.
Jose, the job foreman, returned Sunday to re-roof a small 8 X 12 tool shed I had on the back of my property with shingles left over so it would match my new roof.

The crew arrived at 10:00 on Wednesday morning, as scheduled, and were finished by noon on Friday. Every member of the crew was well mannered and professional, and they worked together very efficiently. Stan dropped by from time to time to inspect the work as it progressed. At one point he noticed a technical problem caused by the nature of the original roof deck, and talked with me immediately and stopped the work until we came up with a solution. At the end of the second day I noticed a minor aesthetic problem which I discussed with Stan over the phone, and he made sure that his crew fixed it first thing the next day. Overall, Stan did a great job of making sure I was satisfied before, during and after the job. The new roof looks great. We have had a good rain since then, and I have looked in the attic and found no evidence of any leaks. I would recommend Sparks Roofing, and would use them again.

Excellent. As my dad had been a roofing contractor and I had done this type of roofng in the past, I knew fairly well what I wanted and how the job should done.

Stan arrived on time for the estimate. He actually measured the roof.(The other cotractor contacted did not before offering his estimate.) Stan's expertise and professionalism was immediately apaprent.. He pointed out what might be a couple of issues (which they wound up not being) and advised on what would work and last best. The estimate was made about 45 days before the actual work was done as I was going to take a vacation. So, the work could not be done any sooner. He guaranteeed the estimate for that period of time. The other contractor could/would not do so.Stan even accomodated a late (within ten days)change of color for the new roofing. Stan offered two different estimates based upon the different qualities of material that could be used. Sparks Roofing estimates were $1200.00 and $1600.00 less expensive respectively than the other contractor. For the same material.
The crew ( four men) arrived at the time specififed, removed the old roofs, applied the new roof, hauled away all of the debris and totally cleaned up the site within two and a half days. The site was left cleaned up at the close of business each day.They were exceptionally conscientous and professional in all that they did.Stan stopped by at least once a day to check on the progress of the
re-roof.
A number of folks from the neighborhood came by to view the re-roof and ask my opinion of Sparks Roofing.I shared with them that I was extremely pleased. Sparks Roofing has done a number of other re-roofs in this immediate area.
Stan later followed up to determine if ther were any isssues and if I was satisfied with their work.go.
My experience with Sparks Roofing was painless and very pleasant. The area has experienced a numbe winter storms(rain and snow) since the re-roof was acomplished. To date, there have been absolutely no issues.

Not much fun in having to work on a roof, even less fun to have to pay for it. I have a tile roof which is difficult to repair. Previous experience with other roofers were negative.
I used Angie's list to select the company for the job. I had heard of Sparks Roofing but knew nothing about them. I contacted Stan, Sparks Roofing Superintendent, and made arrangements for an inspection. Stan was prompt and professional. He was able to determine the exact cause of the problem and explained in detail how he was going to make the repairs.
Because of inclement weather Sparks Roofing had to reschedule repairs two times. I guess it's hard to do repairs in the middle of a rain storm. On each occasion Stan called and told me in advance that they were not coming and why (it was fairly obvious).
The sun finally came out and the repairs were completed.
The big and pleasant surprise came when presented with the bill. Stan explained that much of the existing roofing paper was in good shape and did not require replacement. The final bill was significantly less that i was quoted. That was really good news to receive just before Christmas.
I felt that Sparks Roofing and Stan were honest, professional and did a good job. I would recommend them for roofing work.
I am also happy to have Angie's list to help in selecting people to work on my house.

I had 3 estimates (using Angies list of course!) Sparks Roofing was by far the most informative, Stan took the time to measure my roof, he drew a diagram for me and showed me what would be done, my trouble spots and how those would be fixed. I really appreciated the extra time and information. the work was completed in the time frame I was told. They did extra things like take down my old tv antenna, and replaced some fascia boards. Clean up was excellent, no nails anywhere. Also their price was great!. My new roof looks super! I highly recommend Sparks Roofing to anyone.

The company was very prompt in getting to the property....giving me an estimate....doing the job quickly...billing me as quoted.

Stan, the owner, was very prompt to our first meeting. He was very professional and considerate of my needs, taking the time, as busy as he was, to answer every question I had. Even though I had other quotes approximately the same, I choose Sparks Roofing because I was so impressed with Stan I new he would make sure the job would be completed with profection. His workers were very hard working and did an excellent job. They also did a great clean up, not even one piece of old shingle or nail was left behind. I really love how great the new roof looks.

I had talked about pricing with three different companies and Sparks Roofing was right in the same ball park, Stan was very easy to work with and his crew was prompt and did an excellent job. I wanted to wait a few months after the job was complete before I did the review and I can tell you after the first winter and many, many wind storms the roof looks like the day it was installed. The clean up these guys did was nothing short of amazing. i have only found two nails and one little piece of shingle in the months after the job was done.

After contacting a competitor, I called Sparks Roofing for an estimate to replace my 20+ year od composite shingles. Stan, the owner, came over within 30 minutes of my contact. He climbed on the roof, taking measurements and sketching the layout. The was not done by the competitor who determined the roofing needs from the ground. When Stan delivered the written estimate the next day, he offered two options. Again this was not done by the competing salesman. Stan's estimate came in $500 less than the other company. He assured me that upgraded material was not necessary for my project, saving me another $500. His crew was timely and professional. When problems arose, Stan was there to remedy the situation. He kept me apprised of the project's progress. I have already recommended this company.
