"Had a new toilet installed in May 2020 and everything has worked out very well. Price was a little high in my opinion, but the situation called for a reputable company to install on some messed up floorboard and they did great job. Provided a few toilet options, let me choose and then went and made the purchase from local store. Did not have options on the truck which is understandable."

"I understood the replacement of the PVC piping for proper drainage, no problem. However, the stoppage of the noise when the air condition unit stopped has caused me to wonder. Why did Aire Serv charge me for the moving the wiring within the unit to stop the noise? The last maintenance done on the unit was a replacement of a circuit board. YOUR technician, not Dave, performed the work and if he did not secure the wiring properly? Why is Aire Serv of Las Vegas now charging me to ensure it is secured now? No pictures of work preform were provided."

"My original was to replace the hinges and hasp on the old outdoor access door for my water heater. I was convinced due to the condition of my old weathered door. I would be better served by a new Crafted door. The next day the handyman arrived on time. With the materials needed crafted and installed a new access door. 2 hours 300 dollars. I am very pleased with the workmanship."

"I called Plumbing Pros and spoke to Larry. They were busy and did not know when they would be able to get to our house. He was kind enough to understand the serious nature of our issue and refer us to another company that was able to address our problem more quickly. The other company was great and we were really grateful for the referral. He said to call him back if we had any trouble reaching the other plumber and was extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to call him in the future."

When the techs showed up they were on time had all the tools they needed and got the job done quickly and cleaned up like they were never there. "On December 23, 2019, my wife used Angies List to look for a plumber. Every couple of years our kitchen sink starts to drain slowly and we call a plumber and have it cleaned out with a snake. The clog is usually found to be a grease ball. My wife and I live in a nice house in Peccole Ranch but we are not wealthy. My wife is 76 and we live on a fixed income. Unfortunately, I was not at home when the plumber showed up. Had I been home, once he provided his estimate of $ 490.00 to clean out our kitchen line, I would have showed him the door and checked with someone else. My wife eventually accepted and paid a fee of $ 350 for the service. Th plumber that showed up told my wife he was using a new kind of snake and once he was done she would not have any problems with this drain for 10 years. That claim is of course ridiculous and false. There is no way to know or guarantee any such thing. He also told my wife that the work was guaranteed for 1 year but there is nothing in writing to back that up. Needless to say, I am very unhappy. $ 350.00 is too high a price to charge for this service. I want Angies List to contact this vendor, express my dissatisfaction and ask the plumber to refund $ 150.00 of what my wife paid. A $ 200.00 charge for this service would be reasonable. Update: I felt that a $ 350.00 charge was excessive for a drain clean out. I contacted the company and they are issuing a refund of $ 149.00. That is fair and a good response."

"Had a Saturday morning leak in water softener; the company that installed it did not respond so I called Vegas Valley Plumbing. Keith called back immediately, had me take photo's of the unit and send to him, then he talked me through the shut-off procedure. We then scheduled a visit on Monday. Houston the Service Tech looked at the leak, but suggested I get work done by installer as it should be under warranty, and would accept no payment. Subsequently, the install company responded.) I'm very impressed with the responsiveness and courteous -- Exceptional. Vegas Valley will definitely be my go-to Plumbing service company, and I highly recommend."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Your dishwasher drain hose may have a clog if your dishwasher is full of water, your dishes aren’t getting cleaned, or water takes a long time to discharge into the garbage disposal.

Unlike regular cleanings, snaking your sewer line should be done as needed. There’s no reason to snake your sewer line if you don’t have any noticeable issues, like slow drainage or plugged drains. You can add it to your regular sewer cleaning checklist as a prevention method (on the same 18- to 22-month schedule), but it’s not always necessary.

The drain pump will naturally make a standard operational and draining sound several times throughout your dishwasher cycle. If you hear abnormally loud sounds like scraping, grinding, or clicking, you may have food debris or a piece of glass stuck in your drain filter. Avoid dishwasher repair by always scraping food off your dishes and loading the racks correctly.

If you drop jewelry down your sink, it can cause a clog, especially if it accumulates other debris on its way down. However, that is the least of your worries if you drop your favorite jewelry down your drain. If your gold band goes tumbling down the sink drain, don’t panic—refrain from running more water down the sink, and follow the steps above.

That pungent rotten egg smell coming from your drain is likely the buildup of biofilm—hair, skin, and soap scum that turns into a black sticky mess. In this case, pouring down near-boiling water, baking soda, and white vinegar will remove the smell. Keep in mind that a rotten egg smell is occasionally a sign of larger sewage line clogs and other related issues.
