"I Received a detailed estimate of the work to be performed and a revised estimate any time we discussed and agreed to any adds. The work was done very much to my satisfaction. All workers were very professional, obviously skilled to do their particular parts, and cleaned up and hauled away all trash and parts removed. I had a wall removed between the dining and living rooms, a dropped ceiling removed in the kitchen, several recessed lights added, and some painting. Jacob Ledesma, contractor, and I believe owner, is a consummate professional. His rates are very fair based on my research and other quotes obtained. I will use this company again for other projects and highly recommend this company"

"Truthfully, despite our communication issues he was initially very good with illustration of the idea of a wall with pillars for later use. He seemed fearful of my neighbors, more interested in their comfort, and therefore pulled a permit without consulting me about the location of the wall on the premises..... which led to the wall having to be built starting 3 inches within my property line. They were very punctual on showing up for construction, slightly messy (but nothing terrible), but they left the back of the wall (the side I can’t see from my property) totally unfinished with concrete. And, the “concrete” or “mortar” they used is already disintegrating less than a year after installation."

For us, there were rocks I asked to be removed, which then exposed a small area on both sides of the retaining wall along the stairs. Now we have a problem of potential erosion onto dirt should it rain. That wasn't included in the work order. The other thing is that some of the resurfacing work on the retaining wall began to show cracks after two days. They quickly responded and repaired. "I would like to recommend J&C Lawn Service to Angie's List. On 08/31/ 2015 I contacted J&C related to a landscaping problem . Within minutes J&C Lawn Service returned my call. I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Jorge Montes within the hour, and I scheduled a second landscaping company an hour later. I needed an estimate of how much it would cost to pull weeds, clean the front yard, and repair the existing xeriscaping to the front yard. (I'd paid a previous landscaping company a substantial amount of money to do the work ). The work was horribly done.
