"We had used Southwest Disposal for about 6 years and had also set up an auto-pay arrangement just so we would not have to bother with monthly payments. All OK - for a while. I then noticed that Southwest charges to our bank had doubled over time - from about $20 to about $40 (pretty pricey for 1 or 2 pickups per month)! I considered that to be a gross violation of an auto-pay arrangement and a gross breach of trust! I also discovered that that sort of shady dealing is a usual business practice at Southwest. I had planned to fire Southwest and change to Mesilla Valley disposal - only to belatedly learn that Mesilla Valley had been bought out by Southwest. Not happy - but I did get my payments reduced back to about $20 again. Keeping a watchful eye now - and still looking for alternatives!"
