"PURCHASED FROM A TUFF SHED DEALER in ABQ, NM. So many exposed nails on inside from a ‘missed the stud scenario’. There is one area where the screw attaching the outside vertical component of the shed to the floor of the shed was not screwed in completely, an 1/4” space existed between the side wall and the floor. Every nail/ screw in the manufacture of the building is not redundant. This represents a compromise in the structural integrity of the Tuff Shed. These are the company’s policies. EXCELLENCE POLICY: Taking all necessary steps to create the best products and supply the best services. INTEGRITY POLICY: Living up to our promises, commitments and responsibilities. Both of their policies were not fulfilled in construction of my shed!!"

"Gutters got installed, look nice. Water running back toward wall. Company came back and did their thing. Problem never got fixed. Now i have stained stucco due to incorrect gutter installation. I called them back and they said they should have installed a diverter. So why didn't they? Lazy?, inexperienced at the time? all I know is they stated out well and now I got damaged stucco."

Spray foam insulation on air ducts is also less effective compared to duct wraps.

There are two places where you should not place foam insulation: around electrical boxes or near lightboxes. The foam insulation could get inside the electrical boxes and damage the wiring. Spraying foam too close to a lightbox creates a potential fire hazard; it could also cause damage to the light.

Reflective and high R-value batt or roll insulation are often considered energy-efficient, offering significant thermal resistance benefits.

Homeowners insurance covers some damage caused by ice dams, but it depends on the type of damage. Insurance policies will often cover things like interior water damage, roof collapse, and actual shingle damage resulting from ice formation, but it depends on your policy.
