"The workers were great, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves; however, NM Gas stated that they did not file the proper paperwork or conduct any of the required tests, so NM Gas removed our gas meter - now we are without hot water, stove, furnaces, and fireplaces until the proper tests are performed, the city inspects the work, I pay for all the fines, fees and services, and we get our gas meter back. I discussed this situation with another contractor who stated that getting the permits and conducting the tests SHOULD have been included in the costs - especially at the price quoted."
