"The job was for a covered patio on my existing cement slab in my backyard. He did great work on it, and in a timely matter too. He kept me up to date on the time it would take to do the job, and he would periodically check up on me w/ any questions or concerns I had. The work was done well, and wasn't rushed. As a means of celebrating the democratic government in ancient Greece, American architects borrowed from those newly discovered buildings as a way to emphasize that America would remain a democratic country in the wake of the American Revolution.

Most Greek Revival architecture homes are one and a half to two stories, depending on the footprint, which sets them apart from some Federal architecture homes that are three stories. The gabled roof on the second floor can sometimes cut into the living space, especially on smaller homes of this style, which leaves a much smaller living area upstairs.
